    I have a line 6 Mobile POD, it hooks up to an iPhone with a lightning cable and you can use garage band or the line 6 app.
    Mixing and recording in general kinda sucks and I’m not a fan of it, but it was $50 and the Walmart computer speakers I hook it to are $15. It makes a great tiny travel amp that you can carry in your case.

      Do you hear the direct guitar signal? If yes, sounds like you've set everything up correctly 👍 you will need some amp simulators (plugins) and probably some recording software. I use Reaper for recording. You can use whatever you want, you will just need to look up how to do if for your specific recording software. As for amp sims, I have a video on my top FREE ones if you are interested. Good luck

    • @stevenkambach
      @stevenkambach  4 місяці тому

      Headphones out of the interface. The interface becomes the sound card. There will always be latency with anything digital and it depends on a lot of things. If you have a half decent computer the Latency will not be noticeable.

    Can you please help me with one thing,am also doing in the same way how you have told,reaper is detecting my guitar sound,also i have chosen the output from my amplifier but now matter what i do, whenever am adding an external plugin in reaper(amped roots am using). But no effects are being applied to my guitar sound,the normal acoustic sound is coming,no effects are applied not at all!

    • @stevenkambach
      @stevenkambach  6 місяців тому

      I will take a stab at it! I am not tech support tho. Can you hear everything else in Reaper come through your amp? If yes, I would make sure the fxs are going on the correct track. They need to be on the effects channel of the track that is armed with your guitar. You need to make sure you are live monitoring that track too so you can hear what you are playing, not just the playback. If you do NOT hear everything else from Reaper in your amp, then maybe you have a direct monitor button pushed on your interface. That would send whatever is plugged in (the guitar in this case) and send it straight to the outputs for monitoring completely bypassing your computer. That feature is ok for vocals, but not for guitar. Good luck 👍

    • @stevenkambach

    Question can I use a pre amp as an output from the pc or maybe an amp?

    • @stevenkambach
      @stevenkambach  5 місяців тому

      I am going to reply to what I think you are asking. You can use the amp sim on the computer as a preamp. You can go put from the interface to a PA, or out from the interface to a power amp / fx return (just don't have an IR loaded) on a guitar amp. That will bypass the guitar amp's preamp and go right to the power and speaker section. Just keep your interface level down cause the output it probably at a line level which is a bit hotter than your guitars signal

  • @jakobsims9058
    @jakobsims9058 9 місяців тому +2

    Can you run the signal out into your real amp just to use as a speaker?

    • @stevenkambach
      @stevenkambach  9 місяців тому

      You can output to whatever. A guitar output and an interface output are different (mic vs line level i think). You will probably have to make some adjustments if you are going from interface out to an amp's input
