    Have you read about the history of gold in PR? Do you think there could still be some there ? Maybe pickers or super rare nuggets? Or in the jungle in the mountains?

    • @Klesh
      @Klesh  2 роки тому

      There is absolutely still gold in Puerto Rico. You should check my videos when I visited Puerto Rico and did some gold prospecting in the Mameyes River, also metal detecting and found a giant silver nugget

  • @hooahextreme

    Any day prospecting is better than a day at the office. I never prospected with horses around but Saturday I was metal detecting and was about 25ft from wild mountain goats.

    That the bridge piers and approaches remain show good initial construction. Reopening in less than a year is impressive. The box truss that comprises the span made it possible.

    I guess Ponce and the Pirates got all the stinking gold and left you with the stink.I guess the horses got a stinking bath too! I found that much gold in the Colorado river in Columbus Texas. There were plants growing along the banks with black sand behind them an I panned the black sand and then took it all home. I re panned the cons and found about 5 specs. I was happy to find anything. I also worked on a bunch or roof top a/c's that had River rocks on them and found a few specs in the low spots of the gutters.I called it gutter gold.

    In my teen years in the island of Puerto Rico I met this guy with a gold chain and a rock looking pendulum or charm, like a rapper chain. I ask what was that...??? He said a gold nugget he found at the river in Utuado mountains.That was impressive!!! The size of a golf ball untouched raw native gold nugget. True story believe it or not.

    Just to clarify, I live in Puerto Rico and AT&T is the best coverage. Verizon is horrible in PR. T-Mobile also has fairly good coverage but AT&T hands down is the best. I have Cricket Wireless which is with AT&T towers. You should go to El Yunque in Rio Grande. I heard there's good gold there. I have a metal detector but haven't had time really to do any detecting lately.

    I'm also a dumpster diver and found about 3 garbage bags of Hard drives from computers. They weigh about 20 lbs a peice. The bags were wet, but I saw a guy take a soldering iron and flatten out the blade and just melted them off, instead of cutting all the fingers off. I think he used muriatic acid and Hydrogen peroxide and maybe nitric acid. I've watched a bunch so I may not have it all right. Hopefully soap and water will get the gold off you, then you pan out the stinky stuff and show us the gold.

    Knowing my island, Puerto Rico suffers from hurricanes and quakes, so when panning for gold one needs to dig a minimum of 3 feet in prone disaster zones. Aim for the waterfall zones for better results with gold panning.

Have u seen what this gold thing does to poor people in the philipines. In africa. Its horrible. For 13 dollars if you lucky. Why dont you Dig for gold in your back yard genious.

    • @Klesh
      @Klesh  4 роки тому +1

      I think you might not be seeing the whole picture. When I go panning for gold, I find and remove more lead and mercury from nature in a single month than you'll probably clean up in your lifetime (assuming you're not also a gold prospector). Not to mention the conservation efforts I put together through clean up events and by removing trash during my own visits to the rivers and forests. Also, you spelled Genius wrong.
