    You know I’ve tried to make this multiple times as a kid and always gave up on the 2nd part. I just turned 24 this year and I managed to make it thanks to your tutorial. Cheers man :)

    Ya, but if it has holes, then you should cut them off first (simply cut along the vertical line).

    Hey Jeremy, I've been doing origami for the past 5-6 years and I have to say I had trouble with this model. But with your expertise I was able to actually make it! This is definitely one of the best tutorials out there for this origami. Thanks Jeremy, and keep it up I've made most of your origami so far! :)

    OMG this made it so much easier. I would always get stuck after about the 3rd section but after seeing how to lift up the flap it was so much simpler.

    For those having trouble dividing into thirds u could just take a ruler measure ur paper and then divide by 3

    The way u made it in beginning like the grid was hard maybe try Jo Nashikma way it’s easier but still jersey back at it again and an another amazing video

    Jeremy here is a little tip. If you want the spring into action to you know like go back in together and go out then you have to wet it. I did it and it work. No lies by the way.

    that's why I drew line on the diagonal folds so it makes it easier when you collapse it

    I cannot die, until I fold this, and the magic ball. I always get stuck on the collapse w, on the second twist after you fold the "cap" I guess you'd call it. Sorry for typos, for some reason my text is not visible...

      Yes Jo Nakashima just folded the paper in fourths in the beginning of the video and cut 1/4 of the paper to get his thirds

    I did it on my fifth attempt because I printed out the crease patteren. It rrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllyyyyyy helped me!

    Make SURE that the diagonal creases are Valleys when you roll it in a tube.

    If you think you can do this but have never done origami don’t do it. Every origami that I want to make so far have actually worked, except for this one. It’s really hard to fold but even harder to twist together

    Another way to make it into thirds is to make the first crease that you did, Mr. Shafer, then fold the other edge to that crease

      i usually leave it under a heavy surface for a couples hours and that does the trick
