So, I am having a similar problem. Had code 00198, changed filters runs great if I can get it to start. Shut it off and it won’t start again, keep trying and eventually get lucky and it starts, runs great, but as soon as you shut it down it won’t start again. Need to know how to fix it. Local cat shop has been no help
bro sorry i only now see your message but how i can help you,.? you never mention what is the brand name of your machine. usualy if the machine is common rail type of engine check the return valve if the return volume of return is to much you hev to something to hold the pressure, or maybe injector needed to calibrate, but this just a simple idea that i want you to check, because you did not give me an info about your machine, the like i am catching in the ground no water.

actualy bro the reason is return valve of common rail, the spring and boll inside is loose, thats why i try my the idea, to grif by flier the return hose, to see if the engine will start, but its lucky my idea is succes

At lower portion of the injection pump, a bit lower of the shut off coil solenoid, there is also 1 sensor there similar to the sensor in the flywheel.... If that is not good it will not also start... It is the starting sensor... It is the primary sensor and the sensor in the flywheel is the secondary sensor..
