For $3,780 + tax for all the ones on your wall, kinda hard to consider purchasing, but still pretty cool. For some reason it made me think about how much it would cost for someone to diy something like the stagecraft system used to film The Mandalorian (huge room filled with led screens). I want to see someone totally overkill a gaming set up with an led wall behind them instead of greenscreen... idk if itd be cool or not but I'm just imagining the lighting matching up on them like they're in the game, could be cool. Or VR with something like that for a body cam? Really extra but could be neat. Obviously way more than $4k though
Could also just use a high lumen short throw projector behind you instead of a greenscreen or LED wall. The light will naturally wrap around you and still make it seem like you're in the scene.
Getting all those panels to be color calibrated the same would entail having the manufacturer involved in everything. It not something that isn't doable obviously, but it gets way more expensive than just buying them off the shelf. Like you said it would be a cool video though. I bet you LTT could get LG or Samsung to sponsor a video like that lol
@@thisismelsemail1217 If it was just for a green screen effect for a gameplay video or something, it might be doable with an OLED tv. Probably would result in some glare but I believe there are lenses/coatings that can minimize that. Anything larger would almost definitely require collaborating with a manufacturer, yeah
@@FluxedEdge For some reason that sounds like it would work but also sounds like it wouldn't work, if that makes sense. I guess as far as back lighting goes, it'd work, but if you needed a ring light for your face, I feel like that'd mess up the projection. Probably some way to make it work though
Thank you man, lovely to see this project coming ture! Also want to mention ;) Cololight Mix is a CES 2021 winner. The dynamic lighting effects are completely customizable-hundreds of templates to choose from. Defenitely check out our offcial web and IG as well!
It looks like you went back in time to the 70s and ripped up part of the floor from a disco club and hung it on your wall. Lol in all seriousness, it's a neat look. Definitely a cool accent piece for sure.
You didn’t watch the video smh. The video was posted 59 minutes ago and you posted 59 minutes ago. How did you watch a 10 minutes video is less than a minute ?
Reminds me of a large example of the pixel count of a 480p LCD screen. Why not go with an option for square instead of having all those gaps with them being circles?
Hey Frank, just remembered that you’re a dad while watching the video. So my question is, are you gonna start standing really close to the tv while you watch football now?
1:52 I can just imagine the smug look my math teacher would have on his face if he knew how fast I went "oh so you have 130 of them" Dude always preached about how math was important in your everyday life a lot of the stuff we teach you here and school isn't but math will be kind of thing
Probably not since you need one command led every few leds and I don't think the command one has any sense of where the other leds are, or how many leds are connected to it.
@VauxTube I honestly think Nanoleafs would be cheaper considering he paid around 4000 if my math is correct. Nanoleafs cover more area since they are fairly larger and the cost per panel also seems to be less($21-$23 for the triangle expansion kits)
*You could have just put a TV there or projector displaying images like that…* I though your were getting away from the goofy kiddy style RGB stuff and moving to more elegant like that couples space you saw???
I think it's an interesting project for the channel, kudos to you for doing it, but aesthetically, no - it looks like something a Twitch streamer doing a reaction to some drama nonsense would have in the background right before hopping into the hot tub for their subathon.

Yea this is unrealistic for 90% of the people out there. Great video but wish there was budget friendly options.

Insanity!
Frank P: RGB Isn't really my aesthetic.
ALSO Frank P: I built a FULL RGB WALL!!!
I know right lol
@@randomfrankp u do be random tho
the doorbell in the beginning had my dogs going NUTS
Projects like these, are so fucking cool
I admire
Frank we're going to need you to put these on the floor under glass and recreate the John Travolta Saturday Night Fever scene. 🕺💃
Our guy coming back strong with this one. Those lights are so dope
imagine him just shooting for the first clip and then the outdoors camera got stolen LMFAO

Can we just take a minute to appreciate all of the hard work that is put into each video made! 🙌
nice original comment my guy
This vid better blow up the production quality is so goood
I.NEED.THIS.IN.MY.LIFE!!!
Great video I liked the part where you filled the room
You didn’t watch the video smh. The video was posted 59 minutes ago and you posted 59 minutes ago. How did you watch a 10 minutes video is less than a minute ?
8:00 One of my friends also has a female corgi named Luna. So cute!
Those look so dope! Awesome video! Keep it up, Frank!
I mean if I was building a nightclub it makes sense, but that's way too expensive for home use.
I’m liking these vlog type vids!
Looks awesome dude 👍👍👍
great edit on this one Frank.
I think that break you had really helped your content too, this is sth different man. ALAYKIT
This is the coolest project you ever done Frank!!!
If you havent already you should do a vid on the cable management for the rgb wall cords i can only imagine all those wires! Looks great though!
There are no cords
Cool wall. Being a dad is way cooler though. Keep em coming!
This is actually mad dope!
This wall + acid would be WILD
how many extension lights can a main mix control? Also what peg board did you use. I have been looking for a clean black peg board
Cool casting couch
Damn, you killed this 🙌🏽
Dayumnnn beautiful lights nonetheless
More interested in the peg boards honestly hahaha that wall is gorgeous though
These look insane! Keep up the great vids!
I have a quick question, will you review the meletrix zoom65 keyboard and the new razer huntsman mini analog?
That looks epic! But let's start a petition to have Frank do the entire wall for maximum epicness!
Excellent plan!
Hm, yes yes yes. Rather yes. Yes yes yes! Quite yes
Petition to go bankrupt lmao
I'm too much of an introvert for this. The last thing I need is another reason to stay home! Looks amazing though.
Just like mrwhosetheboss say "if you dont want a crazy rgb glow with complicated design ,just buy this and put everywhere line by line"
Reminds me of a large example of the pixel count of a 480p LCD screen. Why not go with an option for square instead of having all those gaps with them being circles?
Anyone know what those legs are called on top of his drawers under his desk?
Whoa now that's a lot of RGB!
Looks like this video will be quite enlightening
Love how people haven’t even watched the full video and are saying it was great 😭😭
Cuz they already know.
@@randomfrankp I mean duhh every video is great but they just tryna get that like 🤣😭
Frank you're an absolute beast man, been subbed for years!! Been watching you since even before Ed from techsource haha
LOL I got an ad for grow lights before watching this.
No wonder they were out of stock
just joking but looks sick
That really looks great 🔥 love it
omg this is insanely epic
could hypnotize ppl with those XD
i feel like i was looking at a 70's music video for a second
Mrwhosetheboss is quaking his feet right now
Is there patterns you can set across all lights? Or is it solid colours and rainbow only?
I’m wondering if you could hook these up to channel point redemptions on Twitch. Letting people control what colors are going on would be awesome.
Good work here RFP. I like this one alot.
that looks very cool!
So dope!!!! Do you have a link for the peg board?
That's actually really cool 😎
I would love to have these, sadly they’re too expensive.. :(
not sure if it was answered but which peg board did you use?
Epic intro! that had to be a lot of work, much appreciated 👍✌
You have to try and create your logo on that awesome wall...
This is a great idea!!!
Need more dad mode videos with Luna
Hey Frank, just remembered that you’re a dad while watching the video. So my question is, are you gonna start standing really close to the tv while you watch football now?
What did you use to mount the lights, ie. what are those black panels? Thanks
Love the intro
Wow Looks very cool I wanna buy some
Is this in the new studio apartment?
Would be great if they did the same connectors as the Lian sl fans .Which brand of pegboard did you use for this?
Man the algorithm really screwed you over. I had to search your channel up because I wasn’t getting any recommendations.
When will cool tech under $50 for March come out?
F*CK! paying your electric, great video as always!
Over 300 Watts to run them. INSANE.
imagine that but on wheels then you could move it around your room and make that last piece of glow you know
Hope this is an affiliation of some sorts cause geeezzzzz 😂😂😂😂😂
That wall is hypnotic ...Hey Frank, you can use it to hypnotize your kid into eating vegetables. Parenting tips 101
yo where did you get that chain? Bling Bling
Would be cool to make something to make it more uniform kinda like nano leaf panels. but i also like the retro look.
Nice wall, you jabroni
For some reason. The link to the Discord server is “expired” and is not letting me join
How many plugs does that wall require to power up?
1:52 I can just imagine the smug look my math teacher would have on his face if he knew how fast I went "oh so you have 130 of them"
Dude always preached about how math was important in your everyday life a lot of the stuff we teach you here and school isn't but math will be kind of thing
randomfrankp is LITERALLY my dad
Keep up the awesome work!
What wallpaper engine you use for your monitor ?
No Dad Jokes? That's suspicious.
its fine when u get them free
Is this the new place?
Wow it is good idea
Amazing! Can you use it like a low resolution screen?
Probably not since you need one command led every few leds and I don't think the command one has any sense of where the other leds are, or how many leds are connected to it.
@@johnxmzzhang I was hoping the software was able to do it, like Asus with their dot thing on the G14
45 bucks PER light? SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH my man EXPENSIVE
Extensions are $30
@@randomfrankp tbh still cheaper than the ripoff nanoleafs lol
@VauxTube I honestly think Nanoleafs would be cheaper considering he paid around 4000 if my math is correct. Nanoleafs cover more area since they are fairly larger and the cost per panel also seems to be less($21-$23 for the triangle expansion kits)
@@neelb980 wow you may actually be right. these things are definitely cool, but they are way too expensive based on the size
Great video, but you're not gonna get me this time!

I though your were getting away from the goofy kiddy style RGB stuff and moving to more elegant like that couples space you saw???
Great video.
You said you had 130 panels.
On the wall you have a 14x9 grid, which are 126 panels.
What happened to the last 4 panels?
Wouldn’t fit the rectangular layout obviously, what would the point be of having 4 sticking out the side making it uneven?
@@randomfrankp You can use the other 4 one for something else... A very small feature somewhere (or give it away to a viewer...)
Yup, check out tomorrow’s video

a gamers dream 😁😁
Why this over a nano leaf though
Me thinking that he stood for his intros...
@randomfrankp I saw you had the Cooler Master Haf 700 Evo...I hope you have a video using it coming. I'm so interested in that case
Yup! Gotta get building in it soon!
