I would love to see you do a comparison video of current middle-of-the-road launch monitors. I want something more than the R10 but something less than a $10,000 unit.
I’ve covered pretty much everything if you look in the channel. If you are referring to a data comparison, most of the units can interfere with each other, so I try to stay away from that. I never want to show anything misleading.
I would love to compare mine, but ove beem waiting a month lol. Hopefully mine ships soon. I traded my quad in for an exchange. Can't wait to see the difference.
Nice. I think the exchange/upgrade was a nice approach for current users. I thought the Convert options was a pretty solid value to get a new screen, new battery, new magnesium housing, and new case for the price they offered.
@@Puttermaster $5000 to convert a quad or $8000 to trade in for a brand new one. That is what I have heard so far. They are not publishing the prices at least so far.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos will do. The touchscreen and swing speed training is what really pushed me over the edge to make the jump. And I’ve been really wanting the impact location and face to path numbers for awhile now. And they gave me a really fair trade in offer on my BLP.

@@stevemayner yes they do have an upgrade or trade. Seems like the upgrade is the way to go. You send in your quad and they rebuild it with the max updates.
@@stevemayner I did the trade-in, $8500 for the new one, plus a security deposit which is refunded when you send back the old one. They also offer a $5000 upgrade in which they refurbish a Quad to a Max, not sure how that works, but I wanted a brand new one.
@@jamesrobinson7056 Yeah probably depends on how old your unit is and how you value the budget. You essentially reuse parts like the board and cameras when doing the rebuild. Probably worth it to a lot of people with units not that old, especially since I have never even heard of a camera on one of these failing. I would assume they have a really long life span.
You can still connect connect to your device or computer using wireless, but I don’t think it has network connectivity. Honestly, I prefer connecting any of my devices hardwired. I usually use USB-C, unless one of the devices only allows for ethernet.
Was really hoping the successor to the quad would be able to ditch the stickers. Guess the fiducials are going to be a thing for a long time. Oh well, a guy can dream.

My mother worked at a shoe store. She owned a lot of shoes. Not that I'm blaming my mother but as a high handicap golfer I own a lot of launch monitors? I got the Optishot back in 2005's. Then I got the GC Quad fairly recently and just to check on the GC Quad I got the PRGR to help verify the GC Quads numbers. Heh heh heh. The PRGR has club head speed without a fiduciary. In fact it'll record a thrown or kicked ball and it only runs about $250. The PRGR just records Clubhead, Ballspeed, Smash Factor and Carry or Total. But it will record club head speed merely by swinging the club. The PRGR is a small hand carry launch monitor that will fit in your pocket. It's the PRGR that I take to the golf course because it's really compact portable and totally unobtrusive.
You’re paying for the r and D. Your right the quad can’t cost that much to make anymore the tech has been out for years. Like when a new console comes out the hardware is new then the price gets lower
Yeah with the GCQUAD already being such a solid unit I did not expect a complete overhaul. I think these features are filling some of the most requested suggestions from users and allowed them to keep the existing platform which probably saves in costs and speeds up production. I will say after only using the touch screen for a day I find it much easier and I will for sure be using the MyTiles often based on the club I am practicing with. I know a lot of guys doing speed training asked for that features so I am sure they appreciate that addition. Keep in mind this is now $19,999 with club data as well so I think it is the right choice for fitters and coaches too. The MLK comment is funny LOL :) It's a great product I would probably milk it along if it was mine HAHA :) Thanks for watching!

Do you have any info or access to used GC3 for a reasonable price?
Can the new quad max connect to wireless networks like the GC3? I really wish the OG Quad would be able to do this.

Yes it does work with GC3 but some of the QuadMax features like MyTiles are specific to QuadMax.

I agree with the comment about R&D, labor, software development etc. But also the cameras and hardware in a high end model like this are not cheap.
That’s true cameras can cost a lot and I guess the quad means 4 of them
