One sort of skill that people overlook and it makes all the others easier is just being comfortable in your own skin outside and in the wilderness. Sounds simple? Have you ever spent time outdoors with someone who isn't? Not fun. I've even met self proclaimed outdoors people who really hate being outside and they're in some sort of internal battle with nature. No idea how you teach yourself being comfortable outdoors except push on through the thing over time. Definitely not something you want to be sorting through after something happens.

Had an issue with my light scout rig the stitching between the mag pouches is only single stitched and started coming undone at the top of 2 pouches so I had to fix the areas with some inner paracord strands been holding up fine ever since just a heads up on potential wear spots
