@@LukesVintageRC that’s for sure my friend. Doing 2 bodies. One is a vintage parma lexan body I’m doing as awesome kong 2, and the other is a rere hard body I’m doing as Blackfoot. That will be the runner body, and awesome kong the shelf queen 😁
Your channel is one of the best rc channels on youtube imho. I like that you restore things and not just replace parts like when you literally glued the kyosho big brute chassis back together i thought was really honorable to the truck in a way. The way you treat even toy grade rc cars is heart warming and inspiring. I actually really enjoy the toy grade rc videos you do. I am getting into Tamiyas late in the game, but the big modern fast trucks dont really do much for me but something about building the tamiya kits and with all the detail and watching them bounce around is really satisfying. Really happy I found this channel. You are gonna get me into rc boats even though i dont have space for them lol. Do you have a paypal or something setup for donations setup?
Hey thanks for the support. Yeah if it’s rc related I do my best to show it’s contribution to all ages of people on my channel. At the end of the day it’s about fun and that’s awesome. 😊
Absolutely remarkable restoration mate. I love it. The two-tone black and silver offset by the neon green is a killer combo and works really well. Like the helmeted driver figure too. Great video...👍👍.
diff gears im guessing or one of the idler gears ? frog gearbox isnt the greatest for a truck durability wise due too how it flexes apart slightly, but there are ofc fixes & modifications.
hip hop boy No worries got one coming up. Finished up two cars and editing a bit. I should have a lunchbox turn famous cartoon van in August. Currently there’s about 5 rare rc’s ahead of it. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned 😉
Awesome 🙌🔥🔥One of my first hobby grade Rc . Nice looking rig ! The color is tuff & the ball diff upgrades are smooth if you want to go big power brushless. I don't bash mine either & have plenty big fast trucks & I think speed can take away some of the fun IMO . Have some original Blackfoot parts if you need anything, nice restoration my friend . Salute 😎
You should do a video on how you prepped the body so you can paint the body that's a video that no one ever did for these bodies saving the clear bodies there's gotta be a Way to keep the Paint from chipping off what kind of sandpaper um everything please comment back thank you very much
So I’ve done a fair amount of hard bodied rc especially marui big bear which is same, Tamiya Lancia, grasshopper, olds 442, Nikko Ferrari etc. I talk about this process and show process. I have yet any chips to occur but is all about prep, and liberal application of paint and clear coating. Be sure to check those videos and my paint technique on driver figures. ✌️
@@martinneps9387 Hi, so I use spray paint with primer. Most Rustoleum ones have this. You can use 800 grit sandpaper to prep if you want. Obviously the more time/prep the better the outcome.✌️
I have I ideas for the chassis I got alternate body's I can use and I don't want the brushless I like the old nicd or nimh bc I learned if you just upgrade battery and motor I'm not for racing competition just back yard fun or at the park on a Saturday morning those was the days when friends brought there trucks or cars just plain fun
@@LukesVintageRC OK now I can only use RC paint on this right I cannot use car paint like from automotive store like autozone please let me know Thank you
You really did a great job repairing that old junker body, turned out great

Robert NES816 yeah the Proline tires do hold up well absolutely. Thanks for commenting and watching😊
Nice job I just blew the gear box in my vintage black foot lol

My other truck I have a king Blackfoot RC truck that I am trying to Re store this truck it is very hard to find parts for it I have to paint the body
I would set ebay search and reminders for that specific rc model. Also the sand paper I use is 320-800 and polish. Thanks 🙏

Also check Prt 1 of this build for parts and paint I use.thanks

You have one for sale even if just a broken one used
So unfortunately not as I’m just a resto channel. I’d try eBay as there’s a lot on there usually. Thanks
