@@JimTimber The ticks are so rampant in our parts now that one has to use an internal medication (we use Bravecto) as well as a tick check after each and every walk...and Otis with his double thick coat and being black, talk about the difficulty...and Otis don't like any grooming session at all...even if he knows there's a banana to be had in the end! lol

Hot and muggy today here on the coast of the Netherlands. 'Code Orange' in the evening with pounding rain 😅. Love this trio of jackets, that mtp and woodland most. Mtp is being fased out by the dutch army at the moment. Woodland m81 is still used by the dutch royal marines. All the best to you Andy, and a bellyrub for the little sausage.

Superb !! ..the old desert BDU's were modified like that and called RAID modified.. they were mostly used by Special Forces like US Navy SEALS and such like. I do have one somewhere in my collection. The chest pockets were removed and sewn onto the upper arms and the lower pockets were angle stitched onto the chest so that the SEAL could access them under body armour ! ..awesome !! Crappy summer up here so far.......rain with temperatures around 14 - 16C! Usually, summertime means wearing my Bundeswehr Flecktarn shirt. I wore a BDU in my 20s, loved it, big fan of the US 81 camo. Not a fan of desert DPM, nor MTP.

The Dutch army is currently switching to the new 'Netherlands Fractal Pattern' (NFP). Its more like a modern take on the German Flecktarn. I like it a lot! It is slowly emerging on the surplus market, although still scarce and rather expensive!

i just got field trousers in NFP for 69.00 USD here in America. yes hard find though. wear it with my multicam tropic field shirt and the combination makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

US Woodland is the better in my opinion to Multi cam, UK desert camo is off the cards here. That pom multi cam - the Velcro plain patch is quite rare as I've been told!?! I have one too with the paper tag as well (unfortunately Mo had a peck at)
