It's hard to believe that I started watching this channel in High School and now I've graduated, joined the military, and been a Bradley Mechanic for almost 5 years. Glad to see how far you've come
I get the visceral feeling from this video that we are finally going to be seeing alot more of good ol' ZNA again... feels like some piece of the universe that has been missing is suddenly right back where it always was but somehow even better. Looking forward to all the prime build montages, slick editing, and on point humor and memes to come!
@@ZNA_Productions Use Power Pro Super Slick fishing line for the bow string as it's made from the same materials they make modern bow string from. You'll want to make a cable or rope with it, the hacksmith made a video years ago on how to make your own rope that should still be up. Make the core with the strongest test you can get (100 lbs or better). You'll want to mix in elastic string, so the rope or cable has some flex to it. Most YTubers that make crossbows and similar objects make a slight mistake when building homemade crossbows and ballistas, which is thickness of the string. Medieval crossbows and ballistas had very thick strings. Yes, I know that a ballista is a really big crossbow, but it still had a thick string like a crossbow. If I remember correctly crossbow strings could get like an inch to two inches thick, ballista string gets like three to four inches thick. Look it up to see if this is all correct, let me know what I got right and what was wrong.

Hey Eli, I wanted to say a legitimate thank you for continuing to do UA-cam through so much tribulation, your videos have always been so cozy and educational and comedic and I just love sitting down and grinding out some ZNA. You’ve taught me so much about how to build and fix so many countless everyday things, I use some of your tricks that I saw through you in my builds. Just thank you so much for the laughs and the lessons!! ❤
i have this old youtube account from when i was like 14, i’ve been a subscriber since i was in middle school and recently one of your videos popped up in my feed. i hadn’t watched your channel in years, and i binged all your new content. glad to see you’re doing well! i remember as a kid i wanted to replicate your projects, but now that i’m a few years older i just appreciate your enthusiasm about what you do. thanks for all the great content, even when i wasn’t necessarily watching, it is appreciated 🫶

Your lesson about fiberglass cores inside PVC bows is 100% true! I built myself a PVC longbow based on one of your old videos. Love this channel! It is like Samson and MacGyver had a child. Pumped and ingenuitive!
Your edits get funnier every time. Glad to see you're finding your stride again.
Been around since homemade 2, love so see the joy back in you my dude. You never really need a reason to do a thing just do it and enjoy.
Idk when I started watching I know it was before the park course videos you used to do and all ur original crossbow stuff was really fun for me when I was a kid and now being a bit older your videos still make me laugh please never stop :)
A failed build is a build my guy, no loss was had. You learned and made progress on how to improve.
Excellent work, my dude. I'm 32 seconds in, and I can already tell it's gonna be a banger, just like always.
LEETTTTSSSS GOOOOOOO
Absolutely love your videos!
Hey man for a prototype this was wicked cool! Can’t wait to see your next step to ballista perfection!
Great work recently Eli. Hope you found your happy place. Love the content, keep up the good work.
Hey, I have been watching the channel forever. Just wanna say it’s good to see you in a happy place and god bless. Also the ballista was pretty based.
One of the best YT build videos I've seen for a long time. No BS, chilled, funny and entertaining! Good job buddy 👍 🏴
even with a crack it was still pretty powerful, can't wait to see the final version.
Love your videos man and I'm supper happy for you. It's awesome to see you making content again. God Bless
Yep. This was as good as advertised. Never change, Eli.
I love your videos and they’ve gotten me through some tough times by providing inspiration. I’ve been watching you for 6+ years and have made several of your builds. I hope you’re doing well and have a good support system, I know life can be whack sometimes, but know there’s people thinking about you!
I’m sure you hear it often, but seeing what you’ve gone through and pull yourself out of, is truly inspiring. I went through I really dark time in my life, and I couldn’t help but watch your videos. You are awesome and I hope you’re doing good.
