This really goes to show how desensitized people in the industry can become, if both of these women do "Gonzo" porn and don't consider it "aggressive". I know gonzo can refer to the shooting style of a scene or to a genre of porn. And while not everything shot in a gonzo style is aggressive, most gonzo porn is very aggressive. Jamie Gillis, considered one of the founders of the style, produced some of the most aggressive and degrading porn out there. The one chick even referred to the unreleased scene as gonzo. Also, they both praised how awesome it was that directors would constantly check if they were okay, or how concerned directors were with their well-being...they do that constant checking because they have reasons to be concerned about the actresses' well-being.

It's not that there is a problem with gonzo it's that particular director (who also participates) was too aggressive based on the preferences of the OP.
The reality is that it is 2024 and not 1924. It would be silly of me to suggest that no one is abused ever, but in the mainstream people give consent and have the ability to withdraw it as well. Listen to the professional 7:10.

The aggression in porn topic is an interesting discussion. I wonder if there are different interpretations about what is and isn’t agressive in porn. For example, I watched angela’s famous and most favourite scene where she cried afterwards and the part just before she finished was what I would call very passionate but I can imagine that kind of thing being perceived as “aggressive” by others. It’s a bit subjective I think.
The two biggest things are consent and enjoyment.
Some people have a kink to portray violence and some people have a kink to be on the receiving end.
Some people like to inflict pain and some people like to receive it.
Unfortunately, money blurs the lines between the two. Someone can consent to the price, and not receive enjoyment.
I will say this: everyone has a different level of prudishness vs sexual openness. It's far more harmful to shame people in one direction or the other.
