Swanage Railway - Strictly Bulleid II 8 June 2024

8 Bulleid Pacifics in action, glorious countryside, promising timetable of workings. What could go wrong? Quite a lot as it happens - weather was dull and windy and then the timetable fell apart through no fault of their own.
I stuck it out for what its worth but, unless you were there on Saturday putting up with it, there are much better vids out there probably taken on the Friday and Sunday.

Some good footage there Andy, thanks for posting. We were there Sunday which was not quite so crazy busy (a mate told me who did the riding on Saturday and photographed Sunday) I'm not sure how many trips we took! 'Lots'! There seem to be a lot watching, and I hope they contributed in some way one way or another, I dread to think how much this show cost, and being a long-time member and supporter of the SR, I know what the situation is like.

Thanks for watching. We bought a ticket intending to ride some late afternoon trains but didn’t use it as it all went to pot in the afternoon and we didn’t want to get stuck!
