Can you please explain how to customize the fonts of the note, specifically the style of the upper number, so it will match the note style for all of my documents?
There is a default style for the footnote number. It is super hidden. You'll have to open the styles dialog window, then click on the "Manage Styles" button (the one with the green check mark), find the style "Footnote Reference", show it and then you can modify it.
It would have been nice if you would have shown how to enlarge the footnote area so that you can put a lot of text there before it moves over onto the foot note of the next page.
Not sure what you mean. I just tried it and I've put almost half a page into the footnote and it is still on the same page

If I find a same information in more than one articles can I put all the citations on the same footnote or should I add a footnote for each source?
Hi Fanssy, I guess that a single footnote with a single source would work. But if you really want to use multiple source for the same thing, then use one footnote :)

What do I do if I press insert footnote and I only get number 1 next to my writing and no lines at the bottom to reference my source ?
Hi, to be honest, I never had this issue. Are your page margins wide enough to fit a footnote?

This doesn't work for me. In mac, it inserts an "i" for the first footnote, not a "1" like I WANT. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THIS???
Usually, you can do a right-click on the foot note number and there should be some setting options 😊
This video appears to be out of date. I have a current version of Word. For example, when I write click on the footnote, I do not get the options you describe. Please up date.

How can I get a list on all notes automatically at the end?
The only way I know would be to use endnotes. This would move all footnotes to the end of the page
