Here is the second video I’m uploading on Southwest’s special solar eclipse flight from Austin to Indianapolis. This video features an ultra wide-angle taken from my Canon R6 Mark II. The Sun is directly visible at 10:25 when I flipped my camera upside down, it’s also briefly visible at 11:35. I’m still learning how to film on a full-frame camera but I think this video turned out better than expected. The suction cup wasn’t able to fully hold up the weight of my camera for extended periods so it resulted in me having to hold it up so the video isn’t as stable as I hoped it would be. Thank you and I hope you enjoy!
Pretty impressive👍👍
What a view! Must have been pretty cool to watch the shadow of the eclipse catch up like that. Had cloud cover move in right as totality started where I was, but thankfully there were enough gaps to still catch some glimpses. Thanks for sharing the view from above!
Yeah, my original plan was to view it in Central Texas cause I really wanted to get some hi-res photos of the sun. Weather models however were not looking good. I’m glad you were able to get a view of totality!
Great video! New here from Jeb's channel!
Thanks for checking out my video!
same!
Nice. I saw Solar eclipse on my community
Glad you got to see it, it's truly an unique experience!
Stunning view!
Thanks!
I have seen a solar eclipse before. Not on an airplane, but in 2017 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It is a neat experience which you don’t get to see very often. Nice video here of the eclipse. Thanks for posting.
Yeah, I saw the eclipse in 2017 as well in Kansas City. Decided to try something new and I have no regrets at all. Thank you!
cool stuff! tahnks for the video. Internet is a good thing.
I’m glad I could share this experience with you! Thanks for watching!
I saw the solar eclipse too but not on a plane good job luna
I'm glad you were able to see it!
Almost Looked It Like Outer Space Buddy😯😮😲🛸🪐!!!
Indeed, since the moon blocks all of the light it turns the sky into night giving it that look.
Look like flying into outer space 😂
Yup pretty much, I believe Venus was visible when I panned my camera up as well!
Looks like Night-time.
cool
