My granny showed me this 11 years ago. I was 10 years old. She died four years ago, and coming back to this song.. this video.. moves me not in a sad way. But a peaceful way. Like I'm sitting in the sunlight, but forever under a nice shaded tree. I'll never see her again, but I feel her when I hear these girls.

My Precious mama would rock her babies and sing this song. She also rocked her GRANDBABIES and sang it. My mama had just had her 61st birthday when she along with 4 more of my family was killed in horrific wreck in 1981. I can still hear my precious mama singing this wonderful song. I’m sure she’s singing in Heaven.

I guess it's because there is quite a numerous bunch of silly hypocritical hamsters like you who take salvation for granted, while the majority of the people in that church have more makeup on their faces than God would perhaps allow? Mayhaps God exists and he is of the opinion that anyone who would willingly spend money on anything other than an absolute necessity for survival, especially in a world where little children still DIE because of GREED, well, is not quite worthy of salvation, at least not prior, but perhaps rather after being accepted into the sanctuary of purgatory. We live in a modern age where your ''sacred'' book has almost no reach whatsoever, it has become an anachronism due to the PROVEN and both, VISUALLY and AUDIBLY, and even SENSUALLY, appreciable power of science, whether the effect is good or evil, therefore the certainty with which you compartmentalize people, labeling this and that one as an individual who ''ain't gonna be saved'', is kind of lame. You should have written ''even if you do not believe in God, or do not care one whit for salvation and are interested much more in, let's say, excessive salivation, you gotta feel something...'' Infertility is a unique kind of grief. Listening to this because I’m going through it, and because I played it at my Grandfather’s funeral a few years ago with my own two sisters (yes, we nailed the harmonies). I see that this song has only been uploaded here in 2012; In 2006/7 while working on a diamond mine in the remote rural jungle of Sierra Leone, I used to take my personal copies of Gaither Homecoming DVD's with me. The mine featured only one place of public entertainment, comprising a bar and a lounge combined. This was where I played these DVD's on Sunday evenings, and I distinctly remember the impact these three girls made on those hardened miners, far away from their families and loved ones for more than 2 months at a time. They would put down their drinks, turn around to face the TV screen while being touched by the timeless messages sang by very talented gospel singers.
