Wow, a few months ago I was looking all over on how to work with cardboard. Ultimately I made my four-year-old a nightstand with drawers with cardboard. Anyway, I cannot believe I did not stumble upon your channel until right this very minute.
In my home I have some older things, I don't really want to call them antiques. ☺️ one is a chest. My 4 year old is so enthralled with it. So I really would like to make him one. I live on a fixed income and I'm raising him so Love UA-cam. Have you make a chest? I am about to check out more of your videos. But I'm curious if you've done any that have a closure so that it will remain close. Because cardboard is very lightweight it needs some type of closure. Recently I had to replace my sliding back door lock and it was called mortise. I did it myself. ☺️ anyway, it's essentially a hook that catches a loop. So now I guess my question. Have you made anything with a lock like that or closure like that? I'm so sorry for being so wordy, when my daughter was here she always said I had a way with words even if it took me all the way around the block before I got to the point.

What material did you use on the corners and what size screws?
