@@DORAisD34Dwe were just introduced to them in IO2 and Anxiety sort of took over the whole anti-hero role. Just like how Fear, Anger and Disgust weren’t explored as much in IO as Joy and Sadness, here they had more prominent roles. So in IO3 I bet Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment will get explored more.

i think it was because sadness was suppressed so many times and wasn't allowed to use the controller whenever she wanted to so she was starting to change the memories
Well if you remember that only happened with Sadness…the other emotions touched memories in the first movie and they didn’t change so I think it had something to do with the fact that Riley was feeling depressed and thinking of those memories made her sad
