Great to see you receiving one of these and to see your channel growing. You've been working hard over the last few years. I've a built LC70 Killerbody waiting for a chassis, so I think it may well be this one as it's designed for it which will make life so much easier. Take care, Sean.
Thanks very much Sean, appreciate it. 👍 Yeah I'll be interested to see how it performs. Wanted the LC70 body for a while, so a nice one to add to the collection. What do you think of the body and new chassis? 👍
@@DoURC the body is very detailed as you'd expect from Killerbodies, bit fiddly to put together, but worth it though. The chassis is interesting, I like that it's designed for the LC70, although it'll probably be a great git for other hardbody builds too. Absolutely love the motor & transmission assembly, that'll make the "scale" boys very happy for sure 😉
@shug97 Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to build it, as spare time isn't something I have much of! 🤣😬 Yeah the motor and gearbox was the highlight for me, they look awesome, not that you'll see them much under the bonnet mind! 🤣🤦
My rc friend please do your research this chassis is horrible and once you check out your at almost $400.00...so many options to go with your Lc70..don't let certain UA-cam's make you think it's worth it bc it's a headache waiting to happen
Great video mate. It would be nice to see you build this kit live, but i think a speed build with various pauses for a closer look at the scale details.
With the expensive price, I thought it would come with a metal frame & axles, but they're plastic, strange! I would love to see a long video on you building it!
Thanks very much 👍 Yeah, it's a shame it didn't come with metal chassis rails and axles. When you add up the cost of the kit, plus hardbody, plus interior plus all your electrics, it gets quite pricey. You're looking at probably $650! 😬
This is pure garbage and I mean that respectfully..besides the plastic..it's the fact the plastic is cheap and weak..Pillsbury could have went with a stronger plastic but they didn't bc they don't care..at the $380-400$ price point there's just way to many options or Stratton don't have to buy this trash and add just a few more bucks and get something worth it ...I can't believe these UA-cam's bc it's free are not being honest about this trash called the mercury...
To be brutally honest, no. It was a very painful build and I've had bits break on it already after just one run. I've got a post run review coming soon, probably next week. Otherwise I'd say Scale Builders Guild has done the most honest review so far, so I'd recommend checking his video out. 👍 Hope that helps. 👍
I know it's free and you was excited that killerbody reached out to review it...BUT YOU CLEARLY SEE THAT THIS KIT LOOKS CHEAP..THE PRICE IS $330.00 BUT AFTER SHIPPING IT'S $380.00..THEN ADD A JEEP BODY OF LC70 BODY YOUR IN THE $530.00 TO ALMOST $600.00 RANGE....AND FOR THAT PRICE POINT TO HAVE PLASTIC CHASSIS RAILS AND AXLES IDC IF THERE'S LOCKING DIFFS THE PLASTIC LOOKS TOYISH..THE PLASTIC LOOKS CHEAP..I'M ALL FOR PLASTIC AXLES IF THATS WHAT COMES IN THE KIT..BUT AT LEAST HAVE A STRONGER PLASTIC MATERIAL LIKE VANQUISH KIT THAT'S IN THE SAME PRICE POINT..OR EVEN THE SSD TRAIL KING THAT WAS $319 AT ONE POINT THERE PLASTIC IN THE AXLES ARE STRONG AND STURDY..THE PLASTIC IN THE AXLES LOOKS LIKE WALMART rc car plastic just all drop in that area period...then yesterday rails being plastic are you kidding me lmao...and they give you some support beams WHY BC THEY KNOW THE PLASTIC WILL NEED IT...AND IF SO THEN WHY NOT MAKE THE RAILS IN THE SAME MATERIAL AS THE BEAMS?????I LOVE KILLERBODY..I OWN THE LC70 AND EVERY UPGRADE YOU CAN DO...ONLY DIFFERENCE IS IT'S ON THE BOOM RACING BRX01 CHASSIS...WHICH AFTER YOU BUY THIS TRASH KILLERBODY MERCURY DUMPSTER FIRE your only $100 TO 150$ AWAY FROM A KIT THAT GEARS LATER HOLDS ITS VALUE AND IS A STAPLE IN THE SCALE RC MARKET..I WAS HOPING THIS WAS A HOME RUN BC I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE..THEY HAD YEARS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT..THEY LITTERLY HAD YEARS AND DROPPED THE BALL WITH THIS GARBAGE..I KNOW YOU WANNA KEEP THE KILLERBODY RELATIONSHIP ON GOING BUT MANNNNNNN IT'S TRASH BROTHER..AND ALL THAT IT'S ONLY 330$ NOT ITS CLOSER TO $400 THEN $330...I'm biased bc I own a BRX01..BUT EVERY PART IS CRAFTED WITH GREAT QUALITY AND THE BOOM RACING BRAND IS BACKING THE BRX01 WITH ALL TYPES OF SUPPORT..KILLERBODY HAD WHAT THE SAME CHASSIS SO IF THE AXLES BREAK OR JUST ARE TRASH YOU HAVE TO BUY THE SAME TRASH AXLE?OR BUY 2 KITS TO SERVICE 1...KILLERBODY DROPPED THE BALL AND ALL YOU UA-camRS ARE ACTING LIKE IT'S THE BEST THING EVER..BUT IT'S NOT..THAT MOTOR AND TRANS THE MATERIAL LOOKS LIKE IT'S MADE WITH THE SAME MATERIAL AS AN WAL-MART TRANSFORMERS TOY LOL....JUST DO BETTER BROTHER I SEE THRU THE BS...
I would hardly say its cheap toy grade quality. It's much nicer plastic than a toy grade WPL. I agree it should have come with metal chassis rails and axles, that's why I mentioned it. I haven't built it yet, so don't know how it will perform yet so will update once it's built. I was hardly shouting from the rooftops how amazing it is, I was just unboxing it so people can see what it's like. 👍 The main bit I got excited about was the engine and gearbox, as they look great and a really nice design. 👍
How does anyone know what the quality of the kit is, it's not even available to purchase in the UK, Time will tell if its a good kit, and so if the chassis rails are plastic it's not a bashing crawler it's a scale trail truck, let's see how they it fares when people have them
Killerbody Mercury Chassis Kit Unboxing!!!~~~ cool new look, RC with great adventure, always good videos bro👍👍😃
Thanks very much mate, appreciate it. 👍😁
Yeah yeah yeah yeah I wanna see you build it.
Good luck Rob 🎉🎉
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks very much mate. 👍
Well that's one person, only like 99 more needed! 🤣😬😉

6:41 that axels are awesome 👌
They look nice and scale don't they. 👍
Hopefully perform well but soon find out. 🤣👍
Great unboxing. The motor alone is worth buying this set.
Thanks very much 👍
You got something very nice 👍 I'm looking forward to it🎶😁🤩
Thanks very much mate, looking forward to running it. 👍😎
@@DoURC 💪😎👍
That kit looks amazing!
It's got nice scale details hasn't it. I really liked the motor and gearbox. I'll get it built soon to see how it performs. 👍
@DoURC I used to build model cars so I like all the details.
@allscalerc Cool. 👍
I haven't built much, only a Tamiya kit and a WPL kit. Rebuilt plenty of my rigs though.
Hoping its not a painful build! 🤣👍😬
Awesome thank for sharing bro! I just received my too. Can’t wait to built this 😊
Thanks very much 👍
Hope you like yours. I didn't enjoy the build process tbh. I did a follow up video on it as well. 👍

Bonjour, quand penses-tu du châssis mercury car je pensais en acheter un pour ma carosserie toyota land cruiser 70, est t’il de bonne qualité ?

Merci pour l’avis réel 👍
What an incredible kit! The engine and the transmission made me laugh a bit though, and diff pumpkins. Wonder how much it costs.
It's $320 for just the chassis kit, so gets a bit pricey when you add everything up, especially as you need all the electronics too. 👍
@@DoURC whaaaat! 😱blimey. Do you need a specific 1:10 crawler for it to go on? Still amazing love to see the build. Thanks for the upload 🫡
@JiluMiah-ek2rd The chassis is $320, the body is $120. 👍
Awesome chassi 💪😉
I'm hoping it's super scale. 👍
Looks cool
It's a nice kit, looking forward to seeing what it runs like. 👍
@@DoURC yeah I bet
This chassis is a pure dumpster 🔥🔥🔥
Does anybody know what the battery is?
The size and specks
The manual says maximum battery size is 93x44x18.5mm.
In terms of what battery, depends what electrics you chose. I ran mine on a 2s lipo. 👍
whats happening with the 1/10 lc80
I still haven't painted it yet, was super busy on the run up to Christmas. Will try get it done soon though. 👍
That’s a cool looking kit. I look forward to you building that.
@crawlstockrc Yeah I love the scale details on it. Reckon it'll look great at SST next year. 👍
Cheers mate, hope you're well. 👍
@@DoURC I look forward to that 👌
Having issues with finding the battery
It's a very small battery tray. 93x44x18.5mm is the maximum size it says. 👍
@@DoURC Thank very much for replying. Starting to build have it on order.
Nice.! 👍 👍 👍
Thanks very much 👍
