Thank you, Governor Whitmer, for standing up to the bullies who hide behind that one section of the second amendment (the "right" to bear arms,) but conveniently neglect and avoid the first part: "A well-regulated militia." If they're going to act like an undisciplined militia, then they need to be well-regulated so that the public, law enforcement, or our national guards are not put at risk and can walk the streets safely.
Current favorability ratings in Michigan:
Governor Whitmer: 51%
Joe Biden: 48%
Trump: 42%

Governor Whitmer has enforced excessive and absurd lock down rules despite very low covid numbers in the state of Michigan. She banned lawn services, the selling of paint, furniture or garden equipment. They weren't even allowed to buy seeds . She banned what she deemed "non-essential" medical care and procedures and is being sued by doctors and patients who have been greatly harmed by this. People literally died because of her. No to mention all the people who can't afford their homes or food because she shut everything down and destroyed Michigan's economy.
