Show jumping exercises for small arenas can be a little tricky to set up, so it's always a little more reassuring to know that the one you're setting up has been tried and tested and is going to ride well. And that's exactly the reason why I decided to do this series of 10 videos. A lot of people with small arenas struggle to come up with fresh ways of training themselves and their horses.
Ok so we don’t all have massive arenas we can train in, but that doesn’t mean you can’t train well. On the contrary, if you’re training well in a small arena you’re a step ahead of people that only train in a big arena. It is slightly more technical jumping in a small arena, so if you can get comfortable jumping in one, you’ll feel like you have so much more time when you jump in a bigger arena, like what you’d expect to find at a show
