- When my swordtail began to breed, I put her in another aquarium and filmed. The first fry became food in the large aquarium. I got hold of the 288 live fry. In total she got about 300 pc.
När en svärdbärarhona började att föda så tog jag upp den i ett annat akvarium och filmade. De första ynglen blev mat i det stora akvariet, jag fick tag i 288 levande yngel. Totalt fick honan ca 300 st. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини

You can also dress the intake with fine filter mat.

@buusama Most fish live of course in shoals. If you have a small tank, it is better with a small number of fish than for many. You'll have to ask them if they are satisfied.
That is a lot of baby fish!

@deniz6231 Jag hade nog haft dem ett år innan de började att få yngel. När jag såg att honan började föda så tog jag ett litet akvarium och fyllde över några liter vatten från det stora akvariet. Sedan tog jag bara en håv och tog upp honan och flyttade henne. Svärdbärare har inte så stora krav, de brukar få yngel i de flesta akvarier. Du får se upp om någon hona börjar på att bli tjock. Annars är risken stor att ynglen blir uppätna.

Hola me gusto mucho tu video, una pregunta duro 2 meses la gestacion de esos alevines? lo que pasa que yo tengo unos peces como esos pero no se cada cuando tienen a sus crias ni se cada cuando esta lista la hembra para parir necesito de tu ayuda como saber cuando ya va a parir? espero me puedas responder todas mis preguntas por favor!! 288 st. = velikost cca 10 cm? Mně se povedlo z jednoho vrhu zatím nejvíce 203 st., ale neměl jsem dostatečně velká akvária. Kamarád měl obří samičku 12,5 cm a ta prý měla 300-350 mladých

what did you mean with breeder?Life breeders are no care takers for there babys,if you keep them together most parents eat them up..
If you do it like in this video you don´t need for the first weeks decoration or an filter just 4-5 times feeding them with powder food and a lot of water changes.. best daily 60-80% than after two-3 weeks-4weeks if they get bigger put an small filter inside the breeding tank and you can do less water changes but for fast growing it should be min 3 a week
my xipho gave birth too , and her belly was so big that it's color is not anymore red , do you think it will become red back again after a while ?
