Dont think raiders are the pick. Its at sofi and chargers are healthy. You got bosa, mack, and tuli in that game to pressure whatever qb(apparently both are doing terrible in the offseason) they end up going with. Chargers defense got stronger to slow them down, the oline got stronger to keep crosby at bay, and their wr are popping off in the offseason. Raiders dont have a run game and chargers have 2 solid rbs going into that game. I see a blowout chargers win before a close contested raiders win

I'm only commenting because I like what I'm seeing & hearing & it helps the algorithm. But this is such a vague topic that what is there to actually say? The one thing I can think of is that you're the 2nd person to think the Ravens will beat the Chiefs & by about the same amount.
Fatigue is a thing. Hearing the same band on the radio can create it & I think that it's where we are with the Chiefs. However, it's misplaced. Play-calling is one of those things that people refer to once or twice then forget. Reid & Spags may not be The Best At It, at least _I"m sure_ Reid isn't.
But what a difference it makes in games. & the Ravens haven't yet explained _why_ they effed up in that playoff game. We The Fans like to think that NFL coaches are all competent & prepared & it's _obviously_ not the case. Long discussion.
The one thing I'll point to to watch out for is that Sean McVay hired an assistant for no reason than that his play-calling often falters in the clutch.
That's *most* coaches. So far, he's the only who is trying to do something about it. So I hope it catches on because this is Reid's One Advantage. When we panic, our minds seize up & circle around a limited area. We only can access Familiar Ideas because the human mind subconsciously seeks The Familiar when in panic. Every other coach thinks they'll be able to think things through at those times.
Reid thinks them through _in advance_ so that the trick or new plays *become part* of his familiar plays. So even if he did get into a panicked state, he could still find them.
Shanahan, McCarthy & McDermott _REALLY need_ to learn how to do this. (Wait: are all HCs Irish)?

Giants did nothing to fix the line? Lmaooo might wanna go take a look. Adding Brian Burns and a top safety in the draft but they got “worse”

I.think at least 5 teams covered 9 or more points in week 1 last year ( all favorites) give me Bengals in the points I don't see new England even putting up 13 also I like jets +5.5 but SF ML, Vegas keep switching the vikes/ giants matchup it was vikes at first -2.5 then giants -1.5 give me giants ,I like eagles -1.5, GB OL is shaky and I don't think they can generate a pass rush vs eagles OL u talk about how burrow and Bengals come out slow , Jordan love had a terrible first half of season , I do like the raiders +3.5, I like lions ML and they should cover -3.5 at home improved secondary , Seattle should blow out Denver easily . I like Carolina +5

Who's your starting QB? The one the Bears traded for a bag of peanuts or the one the Broncos are paying 39 million to play for an opponent? Who has a weaker receiving corps than Pickens, Freiermouth, a rookie & cast-offs like Van Jefferson?
I too would still pick the Steelers. But I *have **_reasons for_** doing so.* What do you have? Fan rage that anyone has an opinion?

    • @juanyounger4873
      @juanyounger4873 2 місяці тому

@@ChewsCarefully well if you keep up with sports you would know who the starting qb will be, I’ll give you a hint it’s a qb that threw more touchdowns than Jalen hurts and Lamar Jackson last year and have and been to the Super Bowl multiple times and one one. Pickens is a beast and freiermouth is a beast as well wtf are you talking about. If you know football or Steelers history, they go get and make some of the best receivers out there draft and that’s coming from a team that win the most in nfl history

@@juanyounger4873 The next worst receiving room in your division are the Ravens & they have Flowers, Andrews Isaiah Likely & Bateman. At best you're in the same tier as them. The Panthers, Chargers & Patriots have weaker receiving rooms. I'm not disputing the greatness of the individuals in it but pointing out its complete lack of depth.
The reason the Broncos are paying Russ to get tf out of town is there is no fixing what's wrong with him. There's something he needs to do & he can't do it One Entire Game & that's scramble to where he can see the field when his line of sight is blocked.
No scrambling = no seeing the receivers. It's not something they can tweak. Even after losing the weight he couldn't do this At All last year. He passed behind the line of scrimmage 23.7% of the time & none of those were by design. Payton put an RB there *because he knew* Russ needed it & Russ can't see the field over 1 in every 5 plays they call pass on?
Do you think a QB who can't see the field one play in five can lead drives let alone a team to the playoffs? Do you think Russ' ability to do this & not get exhausted has increased in the last 2 seasons? Because he has led the league in such passes the lat *five* years because that's how long his ability to scramble has been in decline.
I'm a Fields believer. But even as a fan I _know_ Russ can't lead drives. He's done. But if I "kept up with sports I would know" what? That all the stupid majority of people are expecting Fields to learn from Russ for a year. The guy who hasn't been able to sustain drives for two years is gonna regress back to his 2017 form & teach what to who? What _does Fields need to learn from anyone?_ It's funny how all these people who nothing about being a QB know what it is Fields needs in only These General Terms but consider themselves experts, eh?
I pay attention to what sports 'experts' _say_ then compare it to what I can see. To a one they never say _why_ they think a thing, only repeat what they heard elsewhere. No analysis. & when their errors are pointed out to them they excuse them as being unforeseeable, then repeat another empty meme they heard before.
I started watching the NFL again because I found channels offering analysis. I've yet to find a fan capable of even discussing it.
