Ray, Let that thing go. Just make sure it makes sense financially. Timing is everything. Sometimes a customer will get a good deal and sometimes your going to make more money. The blessing is that it sold in less then a week. Don't torture yourself...remember, it's a business. Your time will come to have fun. Sacrifice now so you can relax later. Stay DISCIPLINED my brother. Its key in growing and being successful.
But on a more personal note, step out on faith and grow you and your business. Example: purchase a piece of land (1-2 acres), get a metal building/garage to store your cars/ equipment/ work shop. Get a 1-2 bedroom shed home built to your liking...all for $100,000 give or take. All this for possibly less then what your paying in rent. Like I said, It has to make sense.

I feel ya on question of keeping or selling. I buy cars as well and in my buying and selling I stumbled on a real nice low mileage Genesis. I myself wouldn't have walk into a Hyundai dealership to buy a Genesis. But I bought that car from a older guy who kept it in the garage. And the Genesis is also a V8. I wanted to flip it, I ended up keeping the car.and like you said it something fun to drive. So I keep it in the garage covered and pull it out every now and then.

One thing that will always be constant is cars to buy. Also the best way to get over something is sell it for a price that makes sense.
I think 5500 is too low. Since most are selling for 7k and over I would have sold it for 6.5K. If it doesn't sell, lower the price to 6k and then again your lowest price of 5.5K if no one bites. Certain cars attract certain buyers and you can't lump Infinity 5K car buyer in the same boat as a benz buyer who is willing to spend a little more.

I resonate with this video. I've spent most of my adult life saving and saving some more, until i get to that level, while my other friends have "enjoyed" life a little more (vacations, new phones, cars). I often tell myself I need to enjoy it more, but then I realize life can be long and you have to support yourself for all those years....I guess it's all about balance. While it's nice having the newest stuff...it's also nice knowing you don't have to stress about your next paycheck because you save funds.

They can get really expensive. I’ve got a 14 cls 63s Amg. Having to bring it to the shop because I need the front differential resealed, transmission and motor mounts are gone on it. My independent shop quoted me around 4k for the job because of the labor involved.
But that newer one ray and stand your ground on 13-15k dash no lower and fix it right

AMG models are different. The engine is hand built by "John Doe from Germany" and they put there name on the engine. Look thru some of ur footage. The non AMG models don't have that.
Honey, yes you sold that car WAAAAAAAAY to cheap. You never add a self charge. Why? A self charge is the time you took to goto the auction, bid, go back and forth to win it. The time you spent to check the car out, go around the globe looking for parts. Driving here to get the part, driving there to have the part put in, if you can’t do it yourself. Cleaning the car. Listing the car for sale. Having to talk with possible buyers and negotiate deals. Taking the risk of meeting these people. Getting momma up to run with you… as we all know… momma is going to be right there for her baby boy. But what I’m saying is, you do a lot luv. And I don’t know if you see it from our POV. I called my husband at work and told him how much you sold the car for. He hung up. Lol! He said NO EF-ING WAY!! But we also know that you like to buy, ride, and flip. It’s all about the hustle.
You set your price according to what other vehicles are selling in your area and condition. It don't matter how much you put into it. You can fix it up nice or it can be trashy.. that affects the price you ask for as well. A car is only worth what someone will pay for it
