  • Magical family adventure. We took our 3 young kids one of them is actually a baby! to meet Santa Claus ! In Santa's hometown of Rovaniemi, in Lapland Finland the options are limitless for winter fun! Ski, ice skating on a frozen lake, driving a snowmobile on a frozen lake, fishing through the ice (or ice fishing), hiking in the snow, sleeping in ice igloos, or glass igloos to see the northern lights, reindeer safaris, huski safaris, sliding in snowman park, learning from the Elves in their Elf school in Santa Park, you name it!
In 3 nights inSanta Claus Holliday village here was our program :
-first day : arrival, walking arround Santa village, sliding, visiting santa's post office
    - day 2 : Ride on a sledge pulled by a reindeer in an enchanting snowy forest, fun in Santa park
-day 3 : Husky trail (with the baby!), underneath the frozen sky, giant snow park sliding in Snowman hotel
-day 4 : enjoying our baby's first steps in the snow. Walking in the snow is very challenging for a 1 year old baby!
The challenges we met were :
Knowing where to find the best or most real Santa Claus in Rovaniemi. Finding out how to dress our kids and baby for the cold. The Finnish cold is serious! - 16 degrees. Knowing which are the best snowsuits for babies and kids is a real investigation.
