I first got into Al in 1987 when I first bought his debut album on cassette. I love seeing younger generations appreciating his work. My own daughter is 19 and we love listening to him on road trips together.
My dad listened to Weird Al when I was growing up in the early 2000's. Since I didn't grow up wirh the music he was parodying, I didn't get the appeal. It wasn't until years after his death 2010 that I started to get into the whole idea of it.
Interviewers: I'm such a big fan since I was a kid.
Then they proceed to ask Al the same questions every other interviewer has ever asked
EXACTLY😭
It doesnt matter when you got into Al. His work is timeless.
