After 25 years of experience, Stihl and Husqvarna are the best equipment you can buy. Both give excellent performance but a lot of it comes down to the line you use!
I've run 'em both (on brush with toothed blades only): Stihl 560 is a great saw but the Husqvarna is within a whisker of being just as good and it's over 2 lbs lighter, gets better fuel economy, and the Husqvarna harness is way better than the Stihl and all of that adds up by the end of the work day. (Not saying you can't use a Husqvarna harness with a Stihl)

I’m sure everyone has their own valid reason. I’ve run and owned both for many years. I’m 60 now. I also have four friends here who are two cycle engine mechanics and work on Stihl, Husqvarna and Echo. They all prefer Husqvarna hands down. In my experience, and I maintain and take care of my machines very meticulously, I have gotten far better performance, longevity, immediate start and reliability from Husqvarna. When I lived up north and did some tree work in Maine, I noticed all the loggers and professional forestry teams would run Husqvarnas. That included Nova Scotia in Canada. That is my personal experience.
@TheGuitarRoom I'm on the fence between purchasing the husqvarna 555fx or the stihl fs561 c-em. I'm kind of weary with the mtronic carburetor on the 561
I think both are the best one but i prefer huqsvarna.

I think what Swedish Husqvarna meant was the stihl is stronger. The 555FX has 53.3cc and the fs 560 c-em has 57.1cc.
