I’ve ran all of them. I preferred the Husqvarna. I felt it cut better and dater even the the Stihl has a higher displacement engine. 57cc’s vs 53cc’s for the Husky. I preferred the Husky. And actually for this type of work, the Husqvarna 545 is better. The Husqvarna 555, has a different angle on it, a shorter pole, and it’s really designed as a true clearing saw for small trees and thick brush. The husky 545 has a longer pole and not is angled of a head. The 545 has a shorter pole, thicker, one and far more of an angle, so as to be able to directionally fell small trees. It’s the tool that is used by the Swedish forest service to manage their forests
Both machines are great bits of kit.. In the video, The Stihl looks better. But in reality, they are equally matched. But I find that you have to use them slightly differently. The Stihl works best when cutting to the front (10 o'clock to 2 o'clock) and The Husky cuts better by clearing to the right (11 o'clock to 3 o'clock)... The guy using the Stihl looked like he was on more of a mission than the Husqvarna user.

Especially the new 545FR 2.8 horsepower. It is substantially stronger then the Stihl, also more expensive. I am 60 and one I am not touring as a musician, I am in the woods or landscaping. I absolutely love it. I have to say that the Husqvarna out powers and outperforms the Stihl in my personal experience and also starts much easier when hot and is much less maintenance if you maintain your machines properly. Both really good machines

What have now come to learn after using the 555 extensively is that it is specifically designed to be a true forest clearing saw. It’s shorter and thicker and the head is specifically on an angle so you can actually deforest small growing trees that are usually on the edge of a forest line. They’re designed to widen and expand a forest line or thick brush that has small trees. I met someone from Sweden, whose job only requires him to use this machine. The Steele is designed to be a brush cutter and will function better in this environment of thick brush and tall grass simply because the shape of the head and the design it has nothing to do with the strength of the engine.
Ese trabajo no es para hilo,es para cuchilla,la Stihl se vé mas fuerte ( es la que a mi me gusta) Pero ambas son máquinas forestales,póngale cuchilla a las dos,las meten a lis arbustos de 2 pulgadas,y ahí si se va a ver cual se arrana más. Para el pasto metan unas de 35 cc no necesitan mas. Saludos.
Solo te recuerdo que hay hilo de 4 mm y ese no me digas que es para pastito ese hilo lo metes en maleza densa con ramas un poco gruesas y no rompen el hilo

Les damos uso f FORESTAL Y hay ramas y jarillas de 1/2 y más gruesa la vdd no hay hilo que resista para ese trabajo,lo que nos ha dado mejor resultado y mucho mejor que hilo y cuchillas para desbrozadora,,,Lds ponemos discos de 24 dientes para madera, y con ese disco se Devora"hasta arbolillos de 2"! Solo usamos equipos de 50 cc para arriba de 3 a 4.5 hp Saludos... (Eso sí engrasamos Diario les adaptamos una grasera,anteriormente no lo haciamos y se dañaban lps baleros y la lanza")
@@adrianmonroy438 Si claro que sí, llevan un tapón en el cabezal,lo quitas haces rosca para que reciba la grasera, la engrasas cada 20 hrs,y el cabezal casi nunca se rompe.Garantizado.

Stihl is the BMW of brushcutters. I have had an fs 250 since 2005 and this baby still destroys grass and thick brush
And I’m sure you service it often to make sure it’s working very good that machine I’m sure will give you a good 25 to 30 years worth comfortable

Hey there. Right now the only 555 the Husqvarna makes is the 555 FX. Unfortunately I don’t know the other two so I can’t comment on them.
