Late June BC Bow Hunt 2024

Sometimes hunting can be a wild rollercoaster. The end result came after the emotional and physical struggle. In this hunt we put on the miles in some tough terrain in search of bears. One thing leads to the next and we are standing over a boar on the last day of the hunting season. Congratulations to “my buddy” Trevor on getting his first animal with a bow.

So proud of you two for really sticking it out, in search of that bear. P.S. throw in a catch n cook every now and then… i really do also like when your in teaching mode. Also do you spray your hunting clothes down with promethazine for ticks ?

I typically only will cook in the field with ungulates or fish, as I’m really cautious of trich. But yes more catch and cooks! I don’t use anything for ticks, it’s interesting the areas that I hunt don’t seem to have a lot of ticks, probably just not coming across the infested hot spots. Thanks for watching

Bugs were horrendous, they weren’t as prolonged as last season tho. It felt like I was in them all of June last year
