This band is fucking phenomenal! Taylor, Ben, Mark and Jamie are the new rock greats! 🤘
I love The Pretty Reckless. They play solid, straight-ahead, no-nonsense rock 'n' roll and I'm absolutely here for it. Taylor always sounds great (and looks the part of the rock star), and the band consistently puts out wonderful riffs and some very cool stylistic change-ups. I've seen them a couple times in concert and they're just as good live. Definitely hope you keep exploring their catalog.

They got another song with Kim and Matt from Soundgarden (only love can save me now, it's another great song). The entire album they released earlier this year is honestly one of the best so far in 2021, not a bad song in the bunch and quite a few really strong ones. It's a very personal album, Taylor went through a very dark period in her life in the last few years and it shows in some of the songs. 25 is another great one and a beautiful shot video.
This band is growing on me as well. Taylor looks even better when she drops the racoon look and smiles a little bit more. You should check out Rabea Massaad's cover of Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Come Around" or Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game". Very good music.

Old Metal/Rock head I love the Pretty Reckless, her voice is fantastic but the band as a whole it’s for me the lyrics, I know they put some people off because it’s not just the guitar riffs and drum anger. Taylor anger is her vibrato. Check out My Bones official lyric video, Hangman official lyric video ( with Latin translation), My Medicine official video. Taylor chose making music over her acting and modeling career because, she can control her direction and it’s her own good and bad. She owns it it is her. Acting and modeling was never her choice, as she said to a reporter who mentioned her Cindy Lu crush and how much she enjoyed her performance, Taylor replied what 6 year old enjoys working 12 hours a day and being told what to say , think, and be criticized for not being the vision that others want. Then your pretty Taylor let’s model and exploit you and to use cosmetics, gossip, rumors & money to bend and manipulate Me into others visions. With music ( she writes the majority of the lyrics) Taylor feels she’s finally in control of her life the good, the bad. Could call about comparing Taylor to Debbie Harry, who was and is a continuing to work our demons ( drug addiction for one) over the years. I’m happy that Taylor has not succumbed to self destructive behavior and has survived by channeling her music. Trust me I’m a lot older than both of you and sure I love classic rock but I’ve always looked for the edge that sound that pushes me to learn, feel, to cry and to laugh and to live! But I must admit I can’t send you the links because I’m old don’t know how that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it. Madonna? 😂😅 No way, that's too funny. Regarding vocals, there's a lesser known up and coming artist whom I always think of Taylor, and that's Courtney Hadwin. Incredibly powerful and forward voice. Versatile too.
