It did change my fucking life. I was 14 years old.. I'm now 36.. And it does still bring tears to my eyes. The sheer power and honesty behind the audio assault.. How its crafted... Its the closest thing to reality that i've ever felt. It is real. It has pushed me to survive trying times... Given me the nuts to persevere in trying times. Its not like me to lick the balls of a band or artist... Its normal to admire them... But TodayIsTheDay is in my blood. Till Death.
When he starts talking about how people reach out to him I started getting all teary eyed. This man and his music is huge in my life for over half of my existence at this point, and I got into ItEOG. Amazing to hear so many others resonate to this music, don't know you but what's up?!
I have so much respect for this man. I didn't start listening to TITD until after In the Eyes of God came out. My first exposure to Steve Austin was his guest vocals and his production of Converge's "When Forever Comes Crashing" (which is a top 10 90's album for me [along with Temple of the Morning Star]). Converge was amazing back then but he made them sound nightmarish, like a cloak of evil fog draped over their chaotic hardcore sound. I never got super into his pre-Temple of the Morning Star material but I love Kiss the Pig, Axis of Eden and pretty much all of his later material. I want to try to re-visit Willpower and self-titled and see if it resonates with me better now.
titd is life. please pay it respect, steve, by following its creative influence and honoring the honest path. whether or not it's organ dirges or a reassembly of what you've built. god bless you. titd for life.
i missed out a lot on this band. i'm glad to see them for the first time back in 2015 when they were on tour with Weedeater. i'm glad to be a fan of his music!
Willpower is one of the top 5 albums of the 90s. Perfect from beginning to end. All killer, no filler. That said, they were a better band with Elrod behind the kit……now it’s just Steve and the rhythm section of the week.

One of the most underrated bands...ever. The very second I heard them, I fell in love
Same here, it was in the eyes of God for me. As soon as it started spinning, it never stopped
