I heard this song growing up and it has a forever place in my heart. I understand only a smattering of Japanese but that does not prevent me from enjoying the beauty of the vocals.
It wasn't really a big hit in Taiwan. But the Cantonese version (無奈) recorded by Paula Tsui (徐小鳳) at the year of 1981 in Hong Kong was a big hit. And over the years, people are looking back at the original Japanese version.
I like this original japanese version.and a friend of mine says it is eternally meaningful. I see many comments calling this is a masterpiece! to me the song somehow reveals something the beauty of a long lost antiquity that can hardly be found nowaday.
@@NoelChungAnd in 2005, the late Teresa Teng 邓丽君 version in Mandarin titled “Helpless” 《无奈》was finally released to the public. One of my favorites along with the Cantonese cover from Paula Tsui.

B面我都有上傳:ua-cam.com/video/VY4fLBTuQ9c/v-deo.html
