I love that you mentioned the internal time clock and tap tempo and hopefully this is what I need for my gigs. I'm wondering if there's a way to use it while djaying with my ddjsx (using serato or traktor) for live performance (and map it) to trigger samples/sounds/loops and have it sync to the ddjsx tempo and/or pitch and assigning some buttons to allow the keyboard to play different sounds such as sax, piano, and any other sound. I hope all this makes sense and hoping this device can do this or another one that anyone can point me to do what I'd like (trying to avoid using 2 software prorgams at once while live performing such as abelton & serato together).
+Eddie - E11World Same here... I want to know how the roll function works and if I can use it in battery 4 working on Logic Pro X. But I would love to have banks because my battery kits have more than 16 samples.
Hello, havent got new gear in a while, my old midi keyboard broke so I decided to get the ALESIS VI25 Combo keys/drum pads. My question, Can you turn the sensitivity off/on the drum pads? (For example, on the mpd/mpc it has a button that says "FULL LEVEL") Thanks a bunch in advance!
Have to laugh at myself. I picked up a VI49 from a local music store the other day. Knew nothing about it. Looked new. Told it was new. Seems new. It felt great, and key action is a big(est) part of why you buy a controller. Little did I know, THIS THING HAS AFTER TOUCH! $230.00 for a nice feeling synth bed with after touch? Sort of a hidden little gem out in the wild! Wish they had a VI61, but this is a nice backup board. S88 MK2 is the next purchase or just S61 if I cheap out.
Hi, can I add layers of voices. Eg. Can I add a layer of strings to grand piano while playing? How do I get the voices. There are special voices that I'm looking for
Mr.Reese; Is it really so ridiculous that Alesis didn't release an 88 key in the V-series...especially in the Vi-series? Would you want to pay 2 to 3 times the price?88-key controllers of decent quality, run anywhere from 6 to $800...or more. Besides which,it seems quite clear that Alesis designed the V-series to cater to the DJ and the beat-maker crowd,as well as the keyboardist(most of whom, are not prolific concert pianists. I wouldn't mind having an 88-key myself and I had considered the Nektar Impact LX88(but it's only $300 and no aftertouch)and for that super low price,I have to wonder what else is wrong with it. I think for most computer musicians,61 keys get the job done and the DJ/beatmaker demographic is huge,so Alesis are targeting the money.
Usually they come as serial codes of even u have to register your controller on manufactures site and then they send you links from those plugins and you have to download each from different site. A bit messed up but it works
Didn't know Ed Sheeran conducted SOS interviews...
These controllers look quite nice, especially the VI series with the semi-weighted keys. Also digging the MPC style backlit drum pads. Hmm...

Probably you found out, but for anyone out there, you just need to find a plugin that lets you select more than one voice
it's ridiculous to me that they didn't make an 88 key, I have the alesis q88, it's so amazing, but they should have made a v88 and vi88
There will be a v25,v61, and a v88 soon.
I called them and they said , that's not true
im sorry i was wrong. there will only be v25,49,61
ok man , cause I was getting so excited about that, check out my video "John A Reese Alesis Q88"

The velocity keyboard isn't good on this midi for piano playing.
Ed sheeran doing interviews…lol nice!
so how the fuck did the price go up to 279?
Dunno, but the current price at Guitar Center is $179. w00t!
Reporter: cool, but no faders?
Alesis guy: 5:06
The interviewer looks like a mix of Lewis capaldi and Ed sheeran
i spaccati
when i saw the video preview i thought that guy is Ed Sheeran... thats why I clicked
, to know what he says about this keyboard.👹😵
Одна болтовня. Лучше бы показал что умеет инструмент и сам....
