    When assembling the Miracle P land team, “Notice how this isn’t fun at all?!?” Laughed way too hard at that! 😂

    Forgot to mention, the smaller subs so they stay on the combined aqua fighter, you have open the panel door and push and hold on to the black button as you connect it to the bigger blue sub. It is wobbly but it stays on. It doesn't come off.

    Thanks for taking the time to compare and contrast. I have the Miracle version and I love it for what it is. I missed out on the Bandai version. Now it seams like it is sold out everywhere and I can't pay after market prices for it. I do hope for a re-release. Also there is price. I believe I got the Miracle version for about $250 and the latest retail price I saw for the Bandai version is $340 and I can't honestly say there is about $100 worth of difference between the two. As far as conspiracies I think Miracle did have the license from WEP but when toy development took longer than expected, that lit a fire under Bandai who got off their butts and told WEP they would develop a Vehicle Voltron toy. Not wanting to miss out on a SOC Vehicle Voltron, WEP chose not to renew the license for Miracle and BAM here we have the SOC Vehicle Voltron that seemingly came out of nowhere. Of course I can't prove any of this but it takes a good couple of years to develop a toy and bring it to production and I don't remember hearing anything about the SOC Vehicle Voltron until it was shown at one of the conventions. Now, I hope Bandai makes an in scale SOC Voltron II, Albegas and a SOC Mighty Orbots. Those 2 would make my collection complete and that would be amazing. Actually I would love to see a SOC Big Buy from Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot. Bandai at one time did have the rights to Big Guy after all.

      Yeah i do agree with you. Let's pray for the other SOC super robots voltron ll aka Albegas and the Mighty Orbots. And for sure one more thing i think you will definately agree with me is that I really hope they will come out another WEP product base on japanes show which is Ramrod aka Bismark from Saber Rider.. with all those come to reality in bandai SOC i can say that i could die peacefully now... Let's pray so that our hope will come true soon..

      @@kornkixassman An SOC Bismark would be AMAZING. If Bandai wants to print money, they just need to ask us what to do next. Let's hope they are paying attention.

    Thank you josh for your effort making this video. Really appreaciate it. Honestly this is the first an hour long video i watched without fast fwd and really concentrated on the whole duration. As i own both version, I do agree both have their own pros and cons. As for miracle version i did buy both first release and the final version and i did mix and match both resulted in better for both version. In my opinion miracle voltron has proper mechanical interlock mechanisme compared to SOC which they used friction mostly. As time goes by if we keep playing both frequently i think bandai voltron will become loose faster in term of wear and teare.. As i play along with both version actually i found that i love both miracle and SOC version equally.

    Thanks for the Dairugger xv videos man. Among all the reviews this is most in-depth IMHO. Also I've been watching your Chogokin reviews for a couple years and am wondering will you do a review on the gx-71? I always wanted to hear your take on it and how it is compared to the dark Icarus Voltron/mad toys king of beast. Thanks for this video.

    May I ask what do you think will be the better figure between Voltron: Defender of the Universe 40th Anniversary Voltron Collector's Set and the Voltron: Defender of the Universe Soul of Chogokin GX-71SP Voltron (Chogokin 50th Anniversary)?

    I hope you see this. You said the heads aren’t interchangeable. Can the Bandai SOC head fit in the Miracle Productions? Debating buying a SOC HEAD for the MP. The door fell off the MP.

    • @CollectionDX
      @CollectionDX  Рік тому +1

      The SOC head is too small. It can "rest" in the hole from the miracle prod one, but that one holds in place with a magnet. It it's just for display it might work.

      @@CollectionDX Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah I found a spare head on eBay. Was thinking of drilling a small space for a magnet. But all that because the doors fell off. 🤔
      Great review by the way. I’m glad I kept the box. Might have a rare collector item.

    Remember miracle was under the threat by Bandai so they had to change the name, brand and rush the product out. Their license was coming to an end.

    Wow I dont like either of these..... the use of Whit instead of Metallic/Silver makes it lazy comic book-ie. Blitzway needs to make this! and Also AlBeGas Voltron II...both proportional to their Voltron Lion....

  • @thespaceram2879
    @thespaceram2879 5 років тому +1

    The miracle isn't so bad I wish the doors of the head ship closed better and the panel flaps of the lower torso land vehicle didn't flop around. Also to form the land team turbo terrain fighter. You need to put in the fist cars first then the lower cars afterwards. Wish they were held better with some sort of click locking mechanism instead of friction. As long as you don't pick it up, they stay on fine. The soul chogokin has issues too. So it is not perfect either. One of the landing gear panels broke on the head ship on a reviewer. On some people the skirt flaps come off when posing its legs. Some other reviewer, one of the sub legs doesn't stay on in aqua fighter mode. Also the sword being too bendy and cheap. And no connectors freeing the sub thighs and pushing them out by force. And the arm proportion on the soul chogokin is longer. The Miracle has a better arm proportion.

    Of all (not including you giant head promo), which Dairugger toy is the best? I think I prefer vintage for some reason

    • @pittsburghboyertown3821
      @pittsburghboyertown3821 5 років тому

      Isn't the vintage prone to breakage due to the plastics used? I remember parts of mine literally shattering when I sold it off at a huge discount about 10+yrs ago.

    • @CollectionDX
      @CollectionDX  5 років тому +2

      The vintage DX will always be closest to my heart. The blue plastic is super brittle though, and the tab mechanisms give out over time. But I love the friction motors and the firing fists!
