What a treat! It was such a pleasant surprise to see Tim and Kelsey in your vlog. I also follow their adventures through dirtsunrise. I have a jeep TJ and an 80 series and am inspired by you, Tim and Kelsey to get out more and experience true nature/adventure. Yesterday, I took out the 80 for a "nature walk" at 2n33 Pilot Rock in the San Bernardo National Forest, CA. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your next video.....😊✌
So enjoyed watching this episode, reminded me of our travels to this area last summer. Thanks for sharing and glad you and Shannon got to share this adventure together!
I've been watching your videos since the beginning. Congrats on finding someone who shares your adventurous heart! You're an inspiration to more people than you know I'm sure. Keep doing what you do!
Something to look forward to for my rainy weekend, thanks Chris. In our parks,if you’re outside your vehicle you have to have a mask on.It doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of the trails.
I actually visited that campsite just last weekend on my latest trip. I didn’t stay there as I came in from the east side but wow, that grassy area was such a gem!
Yea, Tim & Kelsey! I've been following them for years now and they are awesome. No idea why they don't have a larger following. You all should subscribe!!
I’ve been enjoying your channel for the last couple months since Chris mentioned following you folks on one of his videos. It was a pleasant surprise to see all you guys join up. I’m looking forward to much more for both of you. Great content.
Dirt sunrise been following you all the way south what’s coming up now and thanks Chris 👍Shannon what happened to your rig.all y’all be safe I’ll be watching 👍👍🍺
Tim and Kelsey - I love your channel. Watching all your videos in order. I hope to join one of your off-road classes sooner than later. Jealous of Goose. :-)
The Gila/Mogollon and Silver City is great, Dirt Sunrise is a great channel, what an awesome adventure. This is my favorite episode yet, thanks for sharing!!
So, off I went to check out Dirt Sunrise. Tim & Kelsey have a huge library of episodes. Picked one called Adventure Travel Peru - Best Drive Ever! (Tim and Kelsey get lost Ep 072) because I liked the subject matter. And right in the middle of the episode they picked up the guy with the lettuce and drove him up to his home. What a kawinkydink! Another great post, Chris & Shannon!
Thank you, Chris, for the honest appraisal of the Sprinter suspension. We have a 2WD Sprinter and we got tired of the head banging going over the shallowest of road bumps, let along forest service washboard roads. Many options exists to improve the ride. For what it’s worth, we upgraded our Rig with the Agile OffRoad RIP (Ride Improvement Kit) for our trip to Alaska a couple years ago. So glad we did as the road to McCarthy Kennecott alone justified the expense. Cost was in the $3,800 range. We flipped our tires to KO2 at the same time so I suppose we now have a “baby Revel” of sorts. We never miss an episode. We appreciate the work you do at having fun.
I was in lincoln national forest last october and it was the happiest and most relaxed I've been in years. This one kinda brought me back there. Thanks
Love Bisbee, it's got great character, not that long that it was a ghost town ! From there I travelled to Douglas and into Mexico. Then up to Portal and into the Chiricahua Mountains where Geronimo and his band had their stronghold. Wonderful country with lots of history.
Chris pretty much hinted in his last vid about how much he liked the Storyteller Revel & it looks like he's going to basically do preventive maintenance by doing some upgrading
@@tpseeker3367 Chris is going in over his head. His van is an RV that has 4wd for traction. The suspension and chassis is not designed for offroading. It's not an offroad vehicle and it's not only wasting money trying to improve it's off-road capabilities. BTDT with my Tiger RV
Cool seeing Tim & Kelsey, we've been enjoying their channel for about a year now. Hope they get some new subs out of this because they have good content and deserve it.
This was a great video! Looks like you are having a great time with the new HQ. The places you go are amazing. Thanks for sharing your adventures with all of us.
Enjoyed the video. Hopefully you were able to try Bisbee Coffee Company. Bisbee Breakfast Company is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Have always meant to visit the Cliff Dwellings and even stayed a night in Silver City. I think your video has pushed us to visit and camp there this summer. Great video as always!
Travel safe, I hope you find the ruckus coming from the Jeep (I just cannot say "Orangie"), and, maybe one day, a road that leads out of the desert back to trees, grass, and a green landscape.
I liked the video from the 20 min. mark on but then again I watch the channel for you and the Jeep in off road mode and the scenery, I hope some day we do see the mystery lady just so it's not a thing anymore but I do respect her privacy.
I'm guessing that was blue cheese and not mold on your omelet. 😨 LOL! Dirt Sunrise sounds like a cool channel, I'm gonna have to check it out. Good video. 👍🏻
Oh good the snow gone , I have family that lives in silver city might be going week after next.... man they blocked of the dwelling. I remember going in there as kids.
Think we might have paralleled paths this week. We came down 191 Friday heading back to TN after spending the week in and around Phoenix.Truly amazing country.
Bisbee has/had two crazy residents who I've met there: Jake LaMotta (the movie Raging Bull) who died a few years ago, and the inimitable/infamous Doug Stanhope, an American treasure.
I have to agree. I get life is a progression, and finding someone and adding the van is Chris’s life progression. But with that said. the vibe and content of the channel has changed. It seems like the weekly adventure is more planned due to the van location and it’s more about just getting through the week so you can get back to the van and Shannon. Not knocking it, it’s just different and I liked the rawness and more adventure before the changes.
Love your vids Chris, been watching since the beginning , this year it seems like the videos are a job now. mon-fri, go to work and make a video ( I know it is your job, but its never felt like that from a viewers standpoint) . Maybe it's the whole ' base camp' thing. I've never used fast forward on any of your videos except over the last month or so, and I'm sad. Sorry. I'll keep watching and hoping to get the magic back.
Great content. Interviews, new camera angles, new people. Keep it coming. As for the Shannon comments, not everyone wants to be on camera. Why can’t that be respected?
Man, from all overlanding channels I watch your double vehicle setup really stands out. What a WONDERFUL combination of home base vehicle and satellite adventure vehicle. PERFECT match, well thought out, well done 👍👍👍
It takes a little bit of dedication to get the initial cert but Im a PRN (Pro Re Nata) paramedic but can make really honestly amazing cash flow from various hospitals and or ambo companies and also make that differenc ethat people always are chasing..... and get to live this life style
It's odd that your friend is never shown in your videos. Voice, a hand making food or distant figure in the background. She's like Wilson from Home Improvement.
It's odd that you care at all. Would you want to be on video broadcasted to thousands of people on the internet? Maybe you do, but she clearly doesn't.
I really enjoyed your out-of-Jeep shots while Shannon was getting some drive-time. Nice. The “tranquil buzz” for some reason made me think of Jeff Spicolli. Not sure why. Nice video Sir. 👍
Chris has the makings of his own traveling fleet of vehicles. It would be pretty cool if Cole got his own vehicle and joined his father on a few trips, and likewise if Chris could travel with some other people, and Shannon of course, and really get the offroad convoy thing going. My question though, is what would be his flagship vehicle? Orangey, or that revel?

Dirt sunrise! Nice that you met up with them. Totally cool!
Another good quality video, Chris. At 60 years old, the best part of overlanding for me would be the coffee shops and a sweet treat, LOL.
So enjoyed watching this episode, reminded me of our travels to this area last summer. Thanks for sharing and glad you and Shannon got to share this adventure together!

Looking good guys! you inspired me to watch "Dirt Sunrise". Love them and it was great to hear their perspectives. Be safe!
Great hanging out Chris and Shannon! The pancakes and company were fantastic!
I’ve been enjoying your channel for the last couple months since Chris mentioned following you folks on one of his videos. It was a pleasant surprise to see all you guys join up. I’m looking forward to much more for both of you. Great content.
laughed out loud when you said you would occasionally have to sleep in your front seats.😀
When worlds collide!
The Gila/Mogollon and Silver City is great, Dirt Sunrise is a great channel, what an awesome adventure. This is my favorite episode yet, thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for bringing us along
Gila is awesome! Keep exploring past the Cliff Dwellings, your in Wolf habbitat!!
Chris and dirt sunrise. Awesome. I want some more Chris collaboration videos.
Gabriel Traveler and Offgrid back country adventures
Awesome. I literally binge watched Dirt Sunrise over the last couple weeks.👍

Thanks for the interview I been following them for about a year 👍great people
We will be watching them now for sure, Chris..not so much..
hey, let's meet this gal that has won your adventurous heart. Shannon, don't be so shy. We've seen more of the dog than the girl sidekick
Chris always looks extra happy when Shannon is nearby! Good for you both!
I was in lincoln national forest last october and it was the happiest and most relaxed I've been in years. This one kinda brought me back there. Thanks

Thanks Chris & Shannon 🇺🇸👍🏻
Great video Chris. Thanks.
Wow caves were cool as heck! Amazing place! Thanks for sharing! Glad Shannon could join you for tge week! Life is good!🥾🥾
improving your vans offroad ride is a rabbit hole. Live with it.
Chris pretty much hinted in his last vid about how much he liked the Storyteller Revel & it looks like he's going to basically do preventive maintenance by doing some upgrading

Enjoyed the walk-along footage of the jeep. 👍
Wow ! The good the bad and the ugly. Nice video. Thanks Chris.
That is an amazing area to explore. Just recently was at the Cliff Dwellings. I'll have to save that coffee shop to check out next time. Thanks!!
Bisbee-Yes!! Great area❤️
DIRT SUNRISE!!! Awesome that you guys were able to meet up. Now you just have to run into Dan Greic, and you'll have the Overland Trifecta!
Dirt sunrise is my top channels i watch. It is one of the best, educational and entertaining channel
What a great episode 👏🏼👏🏼
We were at that helipad a couple of months ago👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I subscribed to Dirt Sunrise because I have an 80 Series and will enjoy relating to their channels adventures!
Thank you
Gila is beautiful great scenery.thanks for sharing .
I've seen their channel "Dirt Sunrise". It's great that you interviewed them. I really like them. Good job Chris.👍
Great video thank you!
Thanks Buddy. Cool Video.
Not into vans (or calling your Jeep Orangey) but happy for you, I am glad you and Shannon found one another. Peace.
Great video Chris! We are headed to NM/AZ in May so you gave us some location ideas, thanks!
Bless Shannon
Nice to see places i haven't been since I was a kid. Funny that I haven't made it down there after moving to nm years ago. Safe travels! 😊
I’ve got a new channel to follow! 😃
Thanks for the Revel update. I was curious how it handles off-road and look forward to seeing the upgrades.
Love your videos.
Travel safe, I hope you find the ruckus coming from the Jeep (I just cannot say "Orangie"), and, maybe one day, a road that leads out of the desert back to trees, grass, and a green landscape.
Glad to see you
Awesome you and Shannon got to travel "together" this episode 👏. And delighted she made a brief cameo appearance 😀.
Good episode Chris!
Shannon isn't Wilson from Home Improvement now. Sorta
Get rebuildable shocks. You’ll pay at first but when it’s time to rebuild you’ll save and you’ll have a very comfortable ride. I got Fox 2.5🤘🏻
Good video. 👍🏻
I tripped on some roots going up to the Gila Cave Dwellings. A very interesting area. Even the paved roads are quite beautiful.
Silver City is nearby 👊🏼👏🏼
Been to the Gila twice. Absolutely love the area. Check out th3 hot springs near the Cliff dwellings at some point
Oh good the snow gone , I have family that lives in silver city might be going week after next.... man they blocked of the dwelling. I remember going in there as kids.
Do we really need a mug to remind us to "Live, Laugh, Love"? LOL! Great episode Chris! Keep it up and I'll certainly check out "DirtSunrise".
We just came back from the Gila! If you’ve got the time and distance check out just north of Wall Lake, perfect for Orangie!
I'll be in Gila in 2 weeks! I'll be looking for ya!
Think we might have paralleled paths this week. We came down 191 Friday heading back to TN after spending the week in and around Phoenix.Truly amazing country.
My weekly, half an hour dose of adventure 👍. But no sandwiches in this episode 😁🤷.
Or Chris's infamous spaghetti.
Hey, Goose is clean & "shiny" :)
Bisbee has/had two crazy residents who I've met there: Jake LaMotta (the movie Raging Bull) who died a few years ago, and the inimitable/infamous Doug Stanhope, an American treasure.
Try the outer loop road from Lake Roberts to Wall lake then to Snow lake and back down through Willow Creek and Mogollon.
Ah homemade popcorn😍😍
U-joint in North Carolina is the best off road suspension up grades on the market. Take both vehicles in for upgrades. Peace.
No sarcasm intended... hope you re-torqued your new rims and wheel bolts.
LOL key word ""Torque"". Let's hope he did.
Love that you've found love but, man, your videos are much more interesting when you're traveling solo.
Noticed their furry 4-pawed crew member was absent. Hmmm?
Love your vids Chris, been watching since the beginning , this year it seems like the videos are a job now. mon-fri, go to work and make a video ( I know it is your job, but its never felt like that from a viewers standpoint) . So agree!!! Keep waiting for the old Chris videos...hope it will come back, these new ones.. not so good
I’ve started wondering if we are seeing the beginning of the end with this new ‘arrangement’ , but who knows it may evolve.
Magic is gone I’m afraid.
Been to that coffee shop many a time. We live just North up near the Cochise to stronghold monument
that yota...
'Together' in the title but not together on camera????
Yeah, at one point I thought we were going to get the big camera debut.
Yay!
Great episode! Can you tell us a little about your pup?
You had me at popcorn, go to pie town
love your videos, chris. you should have a million subs by now. ignore the haters, the vast majority of us thoroughly enjoy your productions.
Would love to see how they traverse the Darrien gap.
Great combo of, adventure, new friends, food, views, and fun. Nicely done enjoyable to watch.
@21:00 I wouldn't trust that trail sign. If the snakes there are anything like the deer around here, they tend to ignore road/trail signs.
South Dakota's Badlands National Park signs mention rattle snakes on the trail. They definitely do NOT adhere to any trail rules 😜
Hello Shannon!
Back in my neck of the woods, Zuni mt not far. To bad NM is still the most locked down state.
Im curious how many miles he has on the jeep up to this point
It takes a little bit of dedication to get the initial cert but Im a PRN (Pro Re Nata) paramedic but can make really honestly amazing cash flow from various hospitals and or ambo companies and also make that differenc ethat people always are chasing..... and get to live this life style
Notice your videos have a paradigm shift. And were you wearing a mask hiking in the Wilderness?
It's odd that your friend is never shown in your videos. Voice, a hand making food or distant figure in the background. She's like Wilson from Home Improvement.
That would be great if he only showed half of her face like on home improvement.
I have been thanking the same as you. would be nice to see them as a team. you never know, she might boost his views! LOL
Lol true..kinda lame
I think he said when he first told us about her that she wasn’t ready to be on camera fully just yet
It's odd that you care at all. Would you want to be on video broadcasted to thousands of people on the internet? Maybe you do, but she clearly doesn't.
Goose!
Hi Chris
What is the brand of your revel vans window covers ? Didn’t know which company made these ? Didn’t see on your Amazon list
Thanks
I really enjoyed your out-of-Jeep shots while Shannon was getting some drive-time. Nice.
The “tranquil buzz” for some reason made me think of Jeff Spicolli. Not sure why.
Nice video Sir. 👍
Ive heard good things about the VanCompass kit for the Revel
170K and you need a new suspension? YIKES
Lots of off road with extra weight in vehicle all the time! Not surprising at all.
A lot of money for not a lot of vehicle
They're made for RVers, not Adventurers. RVers can get stuck on a graded dirt road, lol
SHEEEESH
Chris has the makings of his own traveling fleet of vehicles. It would be pretty cool if Cole got his own vehicle and joined his father on a few trips, and likewise if Chris could travel with some other people, and Shannon of course, and really get the offroad convoy thing going.
