I honestly got emotional watching the Russian section from this angle. It was so clear from EVERYONE dancing in that section that they LOVED what they were doing. They put everything they had into performing it, and you could tell that all the rehearsal leading up to it allowed them to throw their entire selves into it while still maintaining perfection in their technique and timing.

Don’t criticise they have they rehearsed for so long and you just saying those could be painful and you can’t control the show so just keep that’s to yourself
It might be because everyone's costumes are so flowy and reflective, honestly. The dancers, the props, the costumes... It's all just in perpetual motion til the end of the number. They had some pretty big props for that one and a good amount of them, too. That could be why. The other dances had little to no props, minimal costume design, and sometimes there were purposeful pauses in the choreography.
My favorite art is the audible audience member going “wow” after every single minimally impressive moment. 😂😂 That, and the Drosselmeyer in the white suit (why?) that we referred to as “Jar Jar Binks” (because annoying and unnecessary).
I find it difficult to find *any* studio/company that really sells the Spanish one. And, not just on the ladies' part, the guys too. I used to dance a version of this as a kid in a rural studio. I was basically told to always whip my head around dramatically XD. The look of pride and confidence is the name of the game for this one.
