That orchestra, yikes. Some glaring imbalances and tuning issues, especially at entrance. Big kudos to the dancers! I imagine they practice for months to the commercial soundtrack and only get a couple pre-show rehearsals with live music. Not an easy transition, especially when every step and movement must be harmonious with the music.

My fav ballet academy ~ The orchestra lower windbrass section is covering the melody line😂😂😂 I somehow thought they improvised the piece and realise it was just because of the balancing😂 1:15

I was watching the rehearsals to this earlier today in the living screen with my parents... And believe me, I have watched so many many many many many nutcrackers... Still got my favorites but the magic you people put into it made my heart send happy tears as my spine chilled with the finale so beautifully performed by the orchestra and all the energy displayed on the stage... Def on my top 5 with 2010 Bolshoi, 70s Park Nureyev and 2021 NYC... I just wish I could see a full alternants performance of yours cause have seen the undertudies on the rehearsals and OMG... Greetings from somewhere lost in central Mexico...

Note to self, I must take a small trip from Vegas to AZ to support this studio and musicians. Best time for ballet.

I like the MBA and their dancers, and it was fun to watch, but synchronicity is severely lacking here

This is actually hard to watch, knowing, and noticing, how each individual is so clean in their own technique and yet, the whole thing put together is such a mess... Especially since the male group and the couple section. I can feel they got bad scores with this performance and i was clenching my teeth. I mean, they at least should have seen the problem with synchronization from rehearsals, it was so obvious. And the fact that the music is so fast didn't help either. Maybe slow down the music a little bit could've saved this performance since the idea was there, it was just the execution is poorly done

When I was a little girl, my friend and I used to dance to this on the record player, wearing makeshift tutus and ballet slippers in her bedroom - can’t have been older than 8 or 9. Nearly 50 years ago.

Funny Suddenly everybody and their mom danced for 20 years or is straight a Balanchine incarnation... As a matter of fact this was good enough to get them to the Finals. Btw if some of you would have read the description you would know that it was right after Nutcracker season. It's easy to sit in your armchairs and write critically comments than do what this kids do.

Pavel Getman trained at the Moiseyev Dance Academy in Moscow, Russia and received a Pedagogy of Folk and Character Dance degree from the Moscow State University of Arts and Culture (2017). This is a r*ssian's take on Ukrainian dance. This dance and those costumes are a crime. Gopak is the russian way of saying HOPAK Ukraine's NATIONAL DANCE. This is russian propaganda. I'm so disappointed in yagp for celebrating russian crimes of stealing Ukrainian culture.
