I think this is the best cover of Replay ever done. Astro fits SHINee's early boyish image so well and they sort or remind me of young SHINee (my bias group is shinee so to me this is a huge ass compliment)
This is probably the first cover of Replay that actually did the original justice, I love how they put their own color into the song while keeping the original spirit.
Txt did good but it just felt more aggressive with their dancing. Not that it's a bad because they are amazing dancers especially with intricate dances. This song just feels softer with Astro and reminds me more of Shinee.

It's prerecorded, it's also got slight pitch correcter evident which can be an effect of the mic itself. They are still heavily talented! I believe there are some live moments in the recording whereas Rocky's belts are definately not live.

When I first went to cf with Shinee I only found some early stages, 1 looked like the back of a room and the 2 groups sounded quite different to each other. Taemin still had longish hair tho. I assumed Astro had been asked to perform this special stage bcs they sounded or looked similar, But they did have a similar vibe. I looked at the time bcs someone had commented that Astro was cute and Shinee was not.(I knew Taemin must have been young and HE would be cute at lleast, front and centre). At that time I'd watch the sports clips and not many music ones so knew who MinHo was. I still have only warched a couple of Shinee M/vs, I watch their concerts -feel the love. I cried a little too over JongHyun but at the time I was mad. Thank you for your meaningful remarks.
I really think fantagio is the luckiest entertainment like they got this talented group under them. Beside they all such a group full of visuals, all of them have their own charms and talents. Beside rocky can sing high notes, jinjin also can sing really beautiful and well here even tho he didn't get many parts. And all vocal line proved they can sing to anything beautifully. From what I remember rocky is a good singer, it was just astro was filled with so many singers they trained him as a rapper and he just agreed to it since they were all friends when they became trainees. He sometimes shows his singing abilities but for the most part he stays as a rapper.

YES. I'm shawol too and I was pleased to see so many other shawols giving these boys props. They absolutely nailed this cover. Their voices fit the song really well, they added a little bit of their own flavor, the dancing was on point, and they have that same fresh, boyish cute energy debut SHINee did.

When I first went to cf with Shinee I only found some early stages, 1 looked like the back of a room and the 2 groups sounded quite different to each other. Taemin still had longish hair tho. I assumed Astro had been asked to perform this special stage bcs they sounded or looked similar, But they did have a similar vibe.
I looked at the time bcs someone had commented that Astro was cute and Shinee was not.(I knew Taemin must have been young and HE would be cute at lleast, front and centre). At that time I'd watch the sports clips and not many music ones so knew who MinHo was. I still have only warched a couple of Shinee M/vs, I watch their concerts -feel the love.
I cried a little too over JongHyun but at the time I was mad.

I really think fantagio is the luckiest entertainment like they got this talented group under them. Beside they all such a group full of visuals, all of them have their own charms and talents. Beside rocky can sing high notes, jinjin also can sing really beautiful and well here even tho he didn't get many parts. And all vocal line proved they can sing to anything beautifully. Don't forget how sweet and lovable this guys in the group. Fantagio, you're the luckiest. Please treat them well. We're not gonna stop support them!

Do you know the difference of this cover of ASTRO to other groups cover? It sounded natural just like how SHINee does it. Others think Replay is a song where you do aegyo or they think it's cute (I'm not hating on others but I just want to tell that Replay is kinda like innocent? Not being cute. From what I remember rocky is a good singer, it was just astro was filled with so many singers they trained him as a rapper and he just agreed to it since they were all friends when they became trainees. He sometimes shows his singing abilities but for the most part he stays as a rapper.

YES. I'm shawol too and I was pleased to see so many other shawols giving these boys props. They absolutely nailed this cover. Their voices fit the song really well, they added a little bit of their own flavor, the dancing was on point, and they have that same fresh, boyish cute energy debut SHINee did.
