I saw Heart for free, in Boston, on the Commons. Met Ann, Nancy and Steve after the show. Nancy was dressed in white lace from her neck to her ankles. They were very cool and "normal". I feel in love with Nancy right away. A month or so later, we heard Magic Man on the radio and we were like "That's those girls from the Commons we met". Loved their music and had every one of their albums!
I live in Medford and these girls were a staple on my turntable in the 70s. They rock and are a beautiful sister female rock band. They always shyed away from the female exploitation aspect and kept to the music. They have it and don't need to flaunt it just do the music. They are professionals and great musicians that don't need to show their asses.
Hooray ...I'm a senior citizen and lifelong musician and love jazz , rock, and all. It's nice when people know about the "other" Nancy Wilson. Jazz singers are brilliant, I've heard most all of the greats, Nancy Wilson among them.
