Google's New $2.1Bn Office Is The Most Expensive Of All Time

Google opened a New office in NYC. Strangely enough, it's a building that is almost 100 years old.
It's not a skyscraper as you imagined in NY, but a Ground Scraper-a building much longer than its height.
This new office differs from Silicon Valley's offices.
How did the C-virus influence the construction of this building, and why is there no table tennis table..?

I still wouldn't trade working from home to go into an office, even if it was this nice. On my deathbed I'm not going to wish I spent more time playing ping pong, I'm going to regret not spending time with my family. Being able to spend time with my family on breaks and lunches and getting back a morning/evening commute is worth more than any office furniture or cool space they could offer here.

If you worked for a big company , they wouldn’t want you working from home , workers are more productive in office than at home.

@@RSGEProductions I work for one of the biggest banks in the world which just built a massive NY skyscraper and I am permanent work from home. Thank God! BUT They made it clear if I accept a promotion of any kind I am going back in the office.
I did the math and I’d lose about 10 hours each week driving so the promotion wouldn’t balance out financially if I consider the lost time…I’d actually lose money in the long run. It made more sense to stay at the same job and just work a little side gig instead.
