The link shows that the Rubbermaid kit only comes with 5 hooks and the one single hook for larger items sells for around $50!!! I installed the versatrak system (Craftsman/$85) for a friend. It comes with 14 hooks+2 hard plastic tracks. Same modular system and no screws.
Ryobi dropped a new thing similar to this but way over priced. Glad I found out about these. I’m gonna definitely install this instead. And holds a lot more weight
From the video, it appears that the cover slides on from the side. I would like to have the track wall-to-wall. I would have no room to slide the cover on from the side. Is this correct or am I misunderstanding?
You can (and most do) snap the covers on by hooking in the top first, then working the bottom. Also, this guy skipped the instructions where it said to put in drywall anchors between the studs in the midway points... and pre-drilling... anyway....
Great video, my question is put garage has no drywall just exposed studs. I want to buy a track but wonder if it will be as effective. What are your thoughts having had this system for some years
Great video, I will be buying this for my EGO collection of landscaping tools
Nice job. Looks super clean.
Thank you for the vid, very helpful. You are right about versatility and flexibility of space.
do you need to slide the covers on or can you snap them into place?

Did you ever find the answer? It looked like, on a different video, he just snapped the covers on from the front. Please let me know!

@jg0002 you don’t need drywall anchors if you’re in the studs. Why would you do that to your wall?
Thx. Good product.
Thank you for this helpful vid
Great video, the fast track install looks great but I’m more intrigued by your awesome floor. What is it?
Hey,
Which hook did you use for the trolly?
Cheers!
You did not show how to install the anchors. It would have been nice as the anchors are a weird shape and I would have liked to see how you do it.

Yes. Same installation would be for stud only walls.
