One of the many things I love about Dime was his willingness to teach. So many of my other guitar heroes have little to nothing at all as far as teaching riffs...which is not a big deal, but it just goes to show Dime's unique graciousness.
Texas graced us with 2 very great, very influential guitarist in my lifetime. Both of whom I never got to see in concert. They also, were both very kind people. There must be something in the water down there.
the tuning is 1 &1/4 step down. to get it in perfect pitch iur gonna need a tuner were u can change the hz . instead of 440hz set it to 430 then tune down 1 whole step and your good.!!!

@AOSoloist more than technique (which he still had) he had a certain style (Dime Style) that made him who he was as a guitarist, so instead of doing all these complex sweeps and scales and blending in like alot of guitarists now, he killed it with his own brand

Dime is the ONLY guitarist who could do the whole shred thing with soul and feeling. Plenty of guys can play fast but none can do it with the groove Dime put down.

I like how considerate he is when showing what he does. You can watch Yngwie and he just says "This is E Phrygian" then shreds 9,000,000 notes. Dimebag breaks it down, shows you what the notes are, where he adds character to the sounds, tells you what he did in the studio and is just generally cool as fuck while he does it. Pumping out the inspiration! P.S. Yngwie is still great, just sucks at explaining things.
