For a home recorder, at the price of each unit, it would be worth it to buy both and record a clean signal direct to the interface then run that track into each unit on its own stereo track in order to layer the strengths of each unit's tones and thus get a more unique sound and with far more variety. It would take a bit more time but it is no harder than standard re-amping.

I like the sound of G1x Zoom for the metal, coz had more some detail between of two., but i prefer The Ge100 for the better attack of drive 😊
i'm an intermediate gutiar player. I just play my guitar to backing tracks on YT. I bought this to try to break the monotony. I LOVE IT!! it is incredible for 110 bucks. I give it 5 STARS out of 5.

ah... i went from loving the zoom at first, but changed sides to the mooer after you got into breaking down the specs. the mooer just seems like it offers so much more for someone like me, making music alone. but then when you got to the playing comparison- i was back on team zoom. it just sounds so much more polished and rich... i think i'm just going to get the zoom first, then pick up the mooer later.

Already got G1XFour. Great little beast. And gonna get GE100 soon for my son... for a fraction of the price GE100 worth buying.

Thanks, I bought the zoom after watching this though the mooer has a couple things I like more such as longer looper and the lessons.
Sir, perhaps you can show a demo on how to calibrate/adjust the expression pedal of mooer ge100. I tried the instructions in the manual but i dont have a luck.😅😅 it's promt me an error message..thank you very much..

Good afternoon, why does the loop not align with the rhythms of the drums, is there any way to fix this?

I will never understand why people try to compare 2 different presets, from 2 different processors, and try to make a judgement. Seems stupid to me.

not a fair comparison. The zoom was DOUBLE TRACKED in many parts where the Mooer was only single tracked.
i have used Mooer, but the Main downside of it is when u are performing live and you switch effects, there will be a sudden stop of the sound which is really noticable especially if its a live performance. does Zoom have the same problem?

interesting but hard to compare in my ears as it sounds like the EQ is so different on both effects, the mooer seems to have a huge mid range cut

To be a great comparison is necessary to compare Mooer Ge100 with Zoom G1xon. And Zoom G1xfour with Mooer ge 150.
I have a G1x. I really love it . But one day it suddenly just stop working😩. Currently looking to buy another effect. Thinking about the get100..but my zoom still sounds better to me

Definitely Zoom!! Because the zoom got cabinet emulation, for connecting to devices other than guitar amps.
I have it for 3 months and it has helped me a lot ;)

Mooer's drives are very "digital", they don't simulate analog sound as well as Zoom

I have mooer ge100. In this video Zoom sounds much better so i compared my mooer with this video while using HQ headphones and mooer sounds much much better! Believe me. He probably messed up output settings on mooer ;).
I own a ge100. I am pretty sure now that this thing is mono. The zoom is stereo.
💯 I thought I made a mistake getting the GE100. After watching this video, I'm happy I chose the right one. 😁
@@BassGodstrue. tonewise, I go with ge100, only downside is the millisecond lag when switching to other patches. overall, ge100 for the tones. g1x4 sounds too generic and feels "plastic-ky" to touch. I guess we just have to contend ourselves lol 😅
Hi. I was wondering how would you be able to record the audio from the pedals to a computer? Can you use the usb on the zoom or can you use the auxiliary connected to the microphone jack to record?

I don't think the Mooer connects to a PC, but the Nux MG 100 does, and is very similar to the Mooer. Hope this helps...

I also think zoom wins. You have got more options for further sounds you can use the of more expensive pedals from its cloud even bass pedals and vocal processor too. Worth buying zoom.

While showing the zoom sounds you had the guitar tracks out of phase. Creating a HORRIBLE sound but I bet it would have been so much better if it was all in phase.

The Mooer patch seems to be mono, the Zoom is stereo. Bit of an odd comparison.
💯 I was trying to figure if that was purposely done. I know the Distortion sounds a lot better on the GE100 though.

You can sometimes buy pedals that come in a bundle. Sometimes, they will come with a power supply, other times with patch cables, headphones or even rechargeable batteries and charger even. Of course, this also raises the price but, for what you get, sometimes it's a good deal...

Nux 100 is my favourite.I played the others and they are easier to use in the beginning but for features and tone for the price nux is the winner for me.
