    You may be correct - thanks for the input! They're nearly the same as khanom bueang, but those more resemble a taco, with a single fold. I can't say if the ingredients are any different, but these that are rolled into a cylinder I was told were known as kanom Tokyo, at least in the "old town" section of Chantaburi. Both the woman preparing them and my Thai friend used that name. Thanks for the comment - join in any time!

    this 's not tokyo it's khanom bueang
