The Greater Paterson Opportunities Industrialization Center (GPOIC), an affiliate of the Opportunities Industrialization Center of America (OICA) founded in the city of Philadelphia in 1964 by Rev., Dr. Leon H. Sullivan, will celebrate 35years of service to the city of Paterson, located in New Jersey. Each year GPOIC hosts a fund-raising Breakfast of Champions to recognize individual students and their employers from the public and private sectors. This year’s celebration will be marked by a “Dinner of Champions” gala affair, which will be held at the New Jersey Performance Arts Center (September 29, 2006). As Chairman of GPOIC’s Board of Directors, Regional Vice-Chairman of OIC of America’s Region I, and member of OICA’s National Board of Directors, I have committed to the Greater Paterson
OIC Board of Directors and staff to raising the bar.
