Nadia Khan’s way of criticising is quite childish and OTT. She criticises in a mocking manner without getting into the nitty gritties while Rubina G, although articulates well, her points are absurd. She took away Sabeena’s acting saying that it is the director’s and writer’s partial effort which is absurd while also criticising Yumna for not changing the role enough. Marina G, Nadia Jamil, Faisal Qureshi and Atiqa G were the best.

As much as I am so excited for JBHSSL, twi things are bothersome; 1. Acc to Mr. Kazmi, Fawad & Mahira aren’t paired which, if true, is stupid since both of them are perfect for Sikandar & Liza and considering that their last drama together was a record breaking drama. So that’s bothering. 2. Biggest contention is: the amount of star cast. It could easily become another Aangan because both of them had a star cast, proven writer & director and lavish budget. Too many cooks spoil the broth. 3. Some of the cast is irking because Hania can’t emote well-enough as much as she could, case in point: MPHT and MH crying scenes. Same goes for Maya who can only perform good given a good director. Kubra should’ve been the choice because she is an incredibly underrated actress.

Tbh Nadia Khan’s morning show back in the day was quite sober and good. Only after when everyone started copying her that things turned sour and morning shows became caricaturist & gaudy so I can understand why she might be a little slighted and offended since it may tar them all with the same brush, but to be this offended over a fictional story, wow. She took it too far and needs to chill. Many shows and films have shed a light on the workings of the media industry from all over the world. I think of Heroine by Kareena and Apple’s The Morning Show. I never saw their own people throw backlash at that for depicting a story that may be reality. Why must our people find faults in everything!
My prediction about JBHSSL: Lisa is Iqra, and Sikandar is Ahad. Sam is Hania. Khushhal will be Ahad’s brother, who might be opposite to Hania. Hamza Ali will be Shehryar and playing the role opposite Maya Ali, and they might be playing the parents' role for Ahad and Khushhal. Fawad and Sanam Sayeed will be the parents of Iqra and Hania. The third parallel couple will be Bilal and Mahira, playing characters of the 90s.
Nah, I don’t see how Iqra looks Italian at all! I think Iqra will play Sam bcs we were told in the novel that Sam looks Pakistani while Liza looks Italian which is why Sikandar confuses her as an Italian at first
JBHSSL novel name was taken from Faiz Ahmed Faiz famous Gazal so relatable to the story. I think some characters will play the teenage time of Sikandar, Zain, Lisa and Sam. Their teenage years are also the integral part of the novel .

Amna & Shehryar were US based in the novel. Sikandar and Zain too. Their prestigious alma mater was Harvard not Oxford. Their all three generations used to study in Harvard with Sikandar being the youngest. And btw Sikandar, Zain and Lisa, Sam's story also had time lapse so there can be two, two actors for the role of their generation who will play their younger selves and relatively older selves.

When I read the novel for the first time i imagined Ahad as sikandar and yumna as Liza but after knowing the cast I feel Ahad will be sikandar and Hania will be liza. I usually don't watch films or dramas which are based on novels because I feel they don't do justice to the authors but i guess I'll watch this one OF COURSE due to obvious reasons . (FAWAD❤)

Witnessing their dynamic would provide Aamnah with a different perspective on what true entertainment can be. In addition, there was a notable incident in the last season involving a heated fight between Humairah and Maira. The conflict lasted for three days, but on the third day, things escalated to a point where Humairah was pointing her finger at Maira, and accidentally, Maira ended up biting her finger. As a result, Maira's tooth fell out, leading to their elimination from the house, which was overseen by Adnan Siddiqui. There is a clip of this incident on the channel. It's worth mentioning that many of the games played in the last season are similar to the ones being played now. The contestants in the previous season displayed great skill and played the games exceptionally well. However, it is important to note that the season started off quite boring, with everyone being overly nice to each other. As time went on, though, their dynamics shifted and changed.

Amazing show guys!! When I started watching ‘jannat say agay’ I was waiting for Nadia’s uproar. I knew from deep inside that she would say something. She wanted to say she had goosebumps watching such reality to which she can relate to, instead she said” keelen chubna” 😂 We had been watching those shows when Nadia started and all of that happened and I can pinpoint so they shouldn’t be criticizing it. I also think that if a drama or movie gets made on a sportsman, would they raise voice against it? Such an absurd comment by Nadia Natasha should’ve been evicted out of the house along with Ady. Neha had been targeted from everyone since day 1 because she reacts. Having said that Faizan also tries to ignite the flame all the time
unpopular opinion: i honestly hoped our first netflix series would be a crime/mystery/suspense/courtroom drama thriller kinda thing. Netflix pe bhi wohi larka larki fall in love, face family issues and back together in the last episode. I love, love stories guys, but that seems to be our only media output. I wish we as a nation could move on from two pretty faces falling in love and family issue sob stories. kher anyways, congrats to the team, best of luck to everyone involved, hope this takes off so we can get some good, interesting stories on netflix as well. We Pakistanis are capable of so much more. (also yasir revealed that his wife iqra is playing Liza)
Congrats to Momina & the entire team for landing their first Netflix project. I'm really hoping Mahira and Fawad are casted together, it would make sense knowing that the same writer who wrote humsafar is the person to write this. Not casting them together would be a really big blunder. I'm hoping this opens many doors for Pakistani content.

If i was the casting director, i would cast as follows Liza - Hania Aamir Sam - Mahira Because both of them are half Italian aka white girls Ahad - Sikandar Khushal - his younger jealous brother zain 🥺🥺 Also I'm a bit scared because this is the first Netflix Pakistani show and they have casted every big name of Pakistani industry. I mean, I wanted a little more diversity. Like if all the big names are in one show, then in future it wouldn't be a surprise for future.

*PLEASE READ TAMASHA 2:* ⚠️ neha is underdog contestant , just cuz she speaks for herself doesnt make her hungry for attention. its her tactic which she is acing thus everyone in house is insecure. even adnan siddiqui complemented her ample times for standing up but it never comes in the episode, provoking someone whether on purpose or unintentionally isnt breaking the rules.. even in uncut version, addy assassinated her character using junaids name to which junaid cried later. addy was on his second warning after faizans fight. badshah pointed out the frequent innuendos addy used for neha throughout the previous episodes but it was so normalised that no one said anything and now that he went overboard, he got eliminated. natasha cheated alot and did get slightly physical but created drama after she hurt herself from bucket. in episode 21 (new), badshah and ahmad complemented neha for her game and tough determination. There were billion times in uncut version where neha is quite and smiles in return of vain arguments but obv they arent shown..
I am beyond excited, this is a huge project for all of pakistan. I love ahad and his projects resident evil and world on fire, fawad and samina ahmed from ms marvel along with all others. This is going to be amazing I hope with many long episodes
Loved this episode of Haute Bites! One thing I wanted to mention regarding KDH. It is a very common practice in all fields including research and medicine to be reviewed by peers. In fact this is the most reliable form of review as research articles that are peer-reviewed are considered more robust, the assumption being that those in the same area of work are better equipped to critique, point out flaws, as well as strong points. It would be nice if judges could be more objective though.
If Ahad, Iqra, Hania and Khushhal play Liza and Sikander generation, then am happy! Mahira, Fawad, Bilal, Hamza and Maya play the second generation and are together - makes sense.
But I wish instead of Ahad they had Bilal Abbas Khan but since Ahad is Canadian he can pull of foreign accent better and he’s already worked in BBC and Netflix before so I assume he is Sikander. Hania would pull off the Italian girl!
Jannat se agay caters to everyone who don’t value relationships but they get so materialistic deep inside having desire for becoming rich and famous that they either lose or don’t value their blessings. Brilliantly done and directed but I feel people don’t want to face the reality. They watch what they aspire to be and this drama acts like a mirror and shows them their greed and hunger for power/fame/dominance so such people either lose interest or get offended, unfortunately. It takes courage to write and make a drama like JSA. It’s one of my fave these days!

Very happy to see Pakistan getting an opportunity to highlight its talent on a platform like Netflix. No doubt this is a chance for the industry to grow, learn, share and celebrate itself. That being said, hopefully Mahira works on her acting skills. It may be an unpopular opinion, but she really cannot act. Like every human, she has certain nuances, body language and facial expressions that are unique to her - but she’s an actress; she should learn to turn those nuances/facial expressions off when she’s in character. Star power should go beyond a pretty face and # of followers. She’s been around long enough (over a decade), and has worked abroad….there’s no reason we should be seeing the same old Mahira in all of her roles. Hopefully Netflix will polish her skills.

I have read Jo Bache....there aren't even that many characters! Older people...yes. But it certainly isn't a story of generation. Maybe a scene or two of flash backs and cameos. But the core characters are 4 young people and 4 parents. I hope they don't change the story. That would be unfair. Also super bummed if Liza ane Sikander aren't Mahira and Fawad. I read the book imagining them! :(

Amna’s comments on Tamasha were very surprising how could you say it was content building and there is nothing wrong with what happened. I honestly thought you’d condemn their behaviour and mention what Hassan was mentioning. Lately HassaN is analysing and critiquing stuff really well. P.s I actually like Amna and usually enjoy and count on her for correct critiquing.
Have you read the novel? Bcoz If I remember correctly there was a time lapse so it is possible that Fawad can play sikander's older version if someone else plays the younger version of the character but if Amna mentioned somebody with an accent is playing the character it might possibly be Ahad

- Sikander was a bit older than Leeza. - The novel is available in PDF format. - Mahira or Hania would be Leeza because Leeza was innocent and childlike and so are Mahira and Hania and I guess Ahad or Fawad would play the Sikander's character. - Sanam Saeed would play Liza's sister's character( Merium) because Merium is a Bold, Genius, highly educated and well-spoken girl and so is Sanam Saeed.

I finished reading JBHSSL last month and it was a really good novel. However, casting so many A listers for one show seems really unnecessary. Moreover, i dont think Momina Duraid has any prior experience of direction so Why her for such a major peoject?
She’s directing for Netflix of course she wants credit. If series turns out well, it means she’ll get the fame as the director PLUS she’ll make more projects for the platform. She’s good at production so maybe she is an decent director. I don’t know which director would do a good job at it though.

First of all, there are no bigger names than Mahira and Fawad if it comes to the entertainment industry in Pakistan. Secondly, as someone who has read the novel and understands the characters of Liza and Sikandar, there are no better actors to play these characters than Mahira and Fawad. Whatever you say, Liza and Sikandar are the main characters in the novel, and it’s their story. So yes, we are offended that Momina and co are using Mahira and Fawad’s names to sell the project, although they aren’t playing the leads.
I was thinking about what is deemed Netflix-worthy content and if we, as a nation have ever produced content that could’ve been a Netflix production. And I could only think of a handful of dramas. Netflix shows aren’t necessarily written well, but their direction is extremely modern and crisp which gives it that high budget feel. In recent times, a drama like Jo Bichar Gaye could easily have went straight to Netflix because of how well-shot the whole series was. Yeh dil Mera is another example, because it was extremely well directed and the psychological thriller aspect fits perfectly as a Netflix show. Even a drama like Laapata that showed a modernized form of storytelling and had a fast-paced narrative could work. And of course, Parizaad is another great example because again, it’s well directed and it’s a rags to riches story which is loved by the masses. The point is, everyday dramas (which is the majority of Pakistani content) like Tere Bin, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Mere Humsafar, Mein - could never make it to Netflix because it seems like these dramas are stuck with the same 3-4 stories. We’ve evolved as a nation in terms of storytelling, but there’s a long way to go to attract international audiences to content that’s equally critically acclaimed as it is popular

Sikandar & Lisa are the two protagonists in the story who meet in Rome & fall in love & get married within two months. The story goes in flashback to their youth & childhood & to the youth & childhood of Sikandar's father Sheheryar Khan, who is a Harvard graduate vice President of the World Bank. These flashbacks explain the background story & the reason for the behaviour of different characters. Just like Alif. I wished you guys were better prepared. This segment made me feel like poor story telling in some of our drama shows, which feels like being taken for granted. I have read the novel twice. Hence my disappointment. Do watch how Rabia Did two videos on the novel.

Remember this was written by Faiz in Jail on hearing the news of the death of a friend Mian Iftikhar ud Deen who was facing the wrath of the establishment. The protagonist is an extremely high achiever undergrad at Harvard, he is forced out of his home during Christmas break on a false accusation of rape by his brother's fiancé. He is gang raped & when he calls home from hospital, his father refused to listen to him, he loses harvard, does menial jobs just to eat & survival. It's a great title for the novel. Let's see if they use a different title for the drama.
Addy definitely needed to be evicted because he used vulgar langauge first,neha only reciprocated. Neha couod have kept quite and let the Badhsha repsond. But still neha didnt need to be evicted for this reason only.
I remember Touseef Haider's morning show back in 90's and early 2000's on PTV when we were school going. Cartoon for school going kids followed by morning exercise, important news then healthy discussions.

@ Hassan, Wahaj was nadia khan’s one of the team member long ago in her morning show so it’s not a big thing that he called her or suggested her to watch some show. As I remember nadia khan used to do her morning show very decently and it was informative and entertaining as well, all the mess started once shaista lodhi joined in, the weddings, the snake kiss and even the wedding of the married couples like she did with sahiba and Rambo. She did everything for TRp and others followed her in that race.
I am a very big fan of something haute and the way in which Amna and Hassan review our dramas. Me and my daughter choose dramas based on your reviews. But recently we are very disappointed by Amna’s remarks on drama idiot Aamna’s view on idiot shows she has no knowledge about autism and neurodivergent conditions. We don’t expect someone sitting on Such a big platform to pass these comments, very disappointing to the extent that these remarks are extremely hurtful for the mother of an autistic child. And they will be also for other people who are autistic or they have autistic people in their close family. They are not socially awkward or not completely withdrawn they have different ways of communication than us . Being different is not awkward at all. And yes if you’re autistic or a family member responsible for an autistic child or adult, life is a fantasy. We are living in this world but completely isolated and alone in the middle of a crowd. I was expecting something haute to appreciate and support this show for addressing such unique challenges of isolated and misunderstood aspect of our society. And also get more information about characters shown. It’s quite disappointing to see something haute supporting projects like terebin but not projects highlighting hidden disabilities 1) “ Autistic loog socially awkward hotay hain “ 2) autistic log socially withdrawn hotay hain. 3)Sadat eik criminal bacha tha aur ab wo kese theek ho gaya hai? He is still not a very normal person. He is not good to any of his family member even to his own child. Just because he seems to conform normal social norms he’s respected and trusted. 4) Rameen seems to be neurodivergent. But these girls tend to hide their symptoms and keep “masking” and then comes a point in life where they can no longer hide and conform to normal social norms. After her encounter with Gulzar’s mindset and words, Rameen felt heard and did the first thing that came to mind as she could not mask any longer.
The Novel JBHSSL is such an amazing novel and I really hope they don’t ruin it, but Amna in novel it’s not a story of 3 generation , it’s story of 4 persons , there are not 3 generations in the novel .

Nadia Khan’s way of criticising is quite childish and OTT. She criticises in a mocking manner without getting into the nitty gritties while Rubina G, although articulates well, her points are absurd. She took away Sabeena’s acting saying that it is the director’s and writer’s partial effort which is absurd while also criticising Yumna for not changing the role enough. Marina G, Nadia Jamil, Faisal Qureshi and Atiqa G were the best.

Why is Nadia so offended?Making movies or plays will become so difficult if people stsrt taking offence.There are dramas made on doctors,lawyers,human rights activists,models,actors they are not directed at anyone specifically.JSA is not specifically about Nadia or Nida.
As much as I am so excited for JBHSSL, twi things are bothersome;
1. Acc to Mr. Kazmi, Fawad & Mahira aren’t paired which, if true, is stupid since both of them are perfect for Sikandar & Liza and considering that their last drama together was a record breaking drama. So that’s bothering.
2. Biggest contention is: the amount of star cast. It could easily become another Aangan because both of them had a star cast, proven writer & director and lavish budget. Too many cooks spoil the broth.
3. Some of the cast is irking because Hania can’t emote well-enough as much as she could, case in point: MPHT and MH crying scenes. Same goes for Maya who can only perform good given a good director. Kubra should’ve been the choice because she is an incredibly underrated actress.

Tbh Nadia Khan’s morning show back in the day was quite sober and good. Only after when everyone started copying her that things turned sour and morning shows became caricaturist & gaudy so I can understand why she might be a little slighted and offended since it may tar them all with the same brush, but to be this offended over a fictional story, wow. She took it too far and needs to chill. Many shows and films have shed a light on the workings of the media industry from all over the world. I think of Heroine by Kareena and Apple’s The Morning Show. I never saw their own people throw backlash at that for depicting a story that may be reality. Why must our people find faults in everything!

My prediction about JBHSSL: Lisa is Iqra, and Sikandar is Ahad. Sam is Hania. Khushhal will be Ahad’s brother, who might be opposite to Hania. Hamza Ali will be Shehryar and playing the role opposite Maya Ali, and they might be playing the parents' role for Ahad and Khushhal. Fawad and Sanam Sayeed will be the parents of Iqra and Hania. The third parallel couple will be Bilal and Mahira, playing characters of the 90s.

JBHSSL novel name was taken from Faiz Ahmed Faiz famous Gazal so relatable to the story. I think some characters will play the teenage time of Sikandar, Zain, Lisa and Sam. Their teenage years are also the integral part of the novel .

Amna & Shehryar were US based in the novel. Sikandar and Zain too. Their prestigious alma mater was Harvard not Oxford. Their all three generations used to study in Harvard with Sikandar being the youngest. And btw Sikandar, Zain and Lisa, Sam's story also had time lapse so there can be two, two actors for the role of their generation who will play their younger selves and relatively older selves.

When I read the novel for the first time i imagined Ahad as sikandar and yumna as Liza but after knowing the cast I feel Ahad will be sikandar and Hania will be liza. I usually don't watch films or dramas which are based on novels because I feel they don't do justice to the authors but i guess I'll watch this one OF COURSE due to obvious reasons . (FAWAD❤)

When I started watching ‘jannat say agay’ I was waiting for Nadia’s uproar. I knew from deep inside that she would say something. She wanted to say she had goosebumps watching such reality to which she can relate to, instead she said” keelen chubna” 😂
We had been watching those shows when Nadia started and all of that happened and I can pinpoint so they shouldn’t be criticizing it.
I also think that if a drama or movie gets made on a sportsman, would they raise voice against it? Such an absurd comment by Nadia

unpopular opinion: i honestly hoped our first netflix series would be a crime/mystery/suspense/courtroom drama thriller kinda thing. Netflix pe bhi wohi larka larki fall in love, face family issues and back together in the last episode. I love, love stories guys, but that seems to be our only media output. I wish we as a nation could move on from two pretty faces falling in love and family issue sob stories.

I'm really hoping Mahira and Fawad are casted together, it would make sense knowing that the same writer who wrote humsafar is the person to write this. neha is underdog contestant , just cuz she speaks for herself doesnt make her hungry for attention. its her tactic which she is acing thus everyone in house is insecure. even adnan siddiqui complemented her ample times for standing up but it never comes in the episode, provoking someone whether on purpose or unintentionally isnt breaking the rules..
even in uncut version, addy assassinated her character using junaids name to which junaid cried later. addy was on his second warning after faizans fight. badshah pointed out the frequent innuendos addy used for neha throughout the previous episodes but it was so normalised that no one said anything and now that he went overboard, he got eliminated.
natasha cheated alot and did get slightly physical but created drama after she hurt herself from bucket. in episode 21 (new), badshah and ahmad complemented neha for her game and tough determination. There were billion times in uncut version where neha is quite and smiles in return of vain arguments but obv they arent shown..
Iam still surprised by the fact that mahira and fawad are not opposite each other.....like we waited for soooo longggggg just for them 💔💔💔😭😭😭
I am beyond excited, this is a huge project for all of pakistan. I love ahad and his projects resident evil and world on fire, fawad and samina ahmed from ms marvel along with all others. This is going to be amazing I hope with many long episodes

Loved this episode of Haute Bites! One thing I wanted to mention regarding KDH. It is a very common practice in all fields including research and medicine to be reviewed by peers. In fact this is the most reliable form of review as research articles that are peer-reviewed are considered more robust, the assumption being that those in the same area of work are better equipped to critique, point out flaws, as well as strong points. It would be nice if judges could be more objective though.

Jannat se agay caters to everyone who don’t value relationships but they get so materialistic deep inside having desire for becoming rich and famous that they either lose or don’t value their blessings. Brilliantly done and directed but I feel people don’t want to face the reality. They watch what they aspire to be and this drama acts like a mirror and shows them their greed and hunger for power/fame/dominance so such people either lose interest or get offended, unfortunately. It takes courage to write and make a drama like JSA. It’s one of my fave these days!

Very happy to see Pakistan getting an opportunity to highlight its talent on a platform like Netflix. No doubt this is a chance for the industry to grow, learn, share and celebrate itself.
That being said, hopefully Mahira works on her acting skills. It may be an unpopular opinion, but she really cannot act. Like every human, she has certain nuances, body language and facial expressions that are unique to her - but she’s an actress; she should learn to turn those nuances/facial expressions off when she’s in character.
Star power should go beyond a pretty face and # of followers. She’s been around long enough (over a decade), and has worked abroad….there’s no reason we should be seeing the same old Mahira in all of her roles. Hopefully Netflix will polish her skills.
JBHSS is a very very beautiful and heart touching novel. Read it a while ago and man totally loved it but novel mein generations ki itni ghicmich nhi thi at most 2 generations hi thi
I have read Jo Bache....there aren't even that many characters! Older people...yes. But it certainly isn't a story of generation. Maybe a scene or two of flash backs and cameos. But the core characters are 4 young people and 4 parents. I hope they don't change the story. That would be unfair. Also super bummed if Liza ane Sikander aren't Mahira and Fawad. I read the book imagining them! :(

Have you read the novel? Bcoz If I remember correctly there was a time lapse so it is possible that Fawad can play sikander's older version if someone else plays the younger version of the character but if Amna mentioned somebody with an accent is playing the character it might possibly be Ahad

- The novel is available in PDF format.
- Mahira or Hania would be Leeza because Leeza was innocent and childlike and so are Mahira and Hania and I guess Ahad or Fawad would play the Sikander's character.
- Sanam Saeed would play Liza's sister's character( Merium) because Merium is a Bold, Genius, highly educated and well-spoken girl and so is Sanam Saeed.

I finished reading JBHSSL last month and it was a really good novel. However, casting so many A listers for one show seems really unnecessary. Moreover, i dont think Momina Duraid has any prior experience of direction so Why her for such a major peoject?
She’s directing for Netflix of course she wants credit. If series turns out well, it means she’ll get the fame as the director PLUS she’ll make more projects for the platform. She’s good at production so maybe she is an decent director. I don’t know which director would do a good job at it though.

I think Fawad will be shikander as he can carry the persona of oxford graduate and main character, sanam saeed will be liza as she has great command of English and accent. Hania will be the italian lady
First of all, there are no bigger names than Mahira and Fawad if it comes to the entertainment industry in Pakistan.
Secondly, as someone who has read the novel and understands the characters of Liza and Sikandar, there are no better actors to play these characters than Mahira and Fawad.
Whatever you say, Liza and Sikandar are the main characters in the novel, and it’s their story.
So yes, we are offended that Momina and co are using Mahira and Fawad’s names to sell the project, although they aren’t playing the leads.

I was thinking about what is deemed Netflix-worthy content and if we, as a nation have ever produced content that could’ve been a Netflix production. And I could only think of a handful of dramas. Netflix shows aren’t necessarily written well, but their direction is extremely modern and crisp which gives it that high budget feel. In recent times, a drama like Jo Bichar Gaye could easily have went straight to Netflix because of how well-shot the whole series was. Yeh dil Mera is another example, because it was extremely well directed and the psychological thriller aspect fits perfectly as a Netflix show. Even a drama like Laapata that showed a modernized form of storytelling and had a fast-paced narrative could work. And of course, Parizaad is another great example because again, it’s well directed and it’s a rags to riches story which is loved by the masses. The point is, everyday dramas (which is the majority of Pakistani content) like Tere Bin, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Mere Humsafar, Mein - could never make it to Netflix because it seems like these dramas are stuck with the same 3-4 stories. We’ve evolved as a nation in terms of storytelling, but there’s a long way to go to attract international audiences to content that’s equally critically acclaimed as it is popular

i really wish we could get a deep dive into these production houses and their script selection process. green entertainment walked hassan through their process and it sounded fairly meticulous
I wish and pray they don't ruin jo bachay hai like they did with Angaan, they have budget, great actors and brilliant set design but they kind of ruin the whole experience...
Sikandar & Lisa are the two protagonists in the story who meet in Rome & fall in love & get married within two months. The story goes in flashback to their youth & childhood & to the youth & childhood of Sikandar's father Sheheryar Khan, who is a Harvard graduate vice President of the World Bank. These flashbacks explain the background story & the reason for the behaviour of different characters. Just like Alif.
I wished you guys were better prepared. This segment made me feel like poor story telling in some of our drama shows, which feels like being taken for granted.
I have read the novel twice. Hence my disappointment. Do watch how Rabia Did two videos on the novel.

The protagonist is an extremely high achiever undergrad at Harvard, he is forced out of his home during Christmas break on a false accusation of rape by his brother's fiancé. He is gang raped & when he calls home from hospital, his father refused to listen to him, he loses harvard, does menial jobs just to eat & survival.
It's a great title for the novel. Let's see if they use a different title for the drama.

Addy definitely needed to be evicted because he used vulgar langauge first,neha only reciprocated. Neha couod have kept quite and let the Badhsha repsond. But still neha didnt need to be evicted for this reason only.

I remember Touseef Haider's morning show back in 90's and early 2000's on PTV when we were school going. Cartoon for school going kids followed by morning exercise, important news then healthy discussions.
I first watched Pak dramas which were on Netflix like hum safar, ZGH, Tumhare, Sadquay Tumhare, and Khaani,then suddenly these disappeared from Netflix which was sad, however looking forward to this new Pak drama with stellar cast on Netflix!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹💕

@ Hassan, Wahaj was nadia khan’s one of the team member long ago in her morning show so it’s not a big thing that he called her or suggested her to watch some show. As I remember nadia khan used to do her morning show very decently and it was informative and entertaining as well, all the mess started once shaista lodhi joined in, the weddings, the snake kiss and even the wedding of the married couples like she did with sahiba and Rambo. She did everything for TRp and others followed her in that race.
I am a very big fan of something haute and the way in which Amna and Hassan review our dramas. Me and my daughter choose dramas based on your reviews. But recently we are very disappointed by Amna’s remarks on drama idiot
Aamna’s view on idiot shows she has no knowledge about autism and neurodivergent conditions. We don’t expect someone sitting on Such a big platform to pass these comments, very disappointing to the extent that these remarks are extremely hurtful for the mother of an autistic child. And they will be also for other people who are autistic or they have autistic people in their close family. They are not socially awkward or not completely withdrawn they have different ways of communication than us . Being different is not awkward at all. And yes if you’re autistic or a family member responsible for an autistic child or adult, life is a fantasy. We are living in this world but completely isolated and alone in the middle of a crowd. I was expecting something haute to appreciate and support this show for addressing such unique challenges of isolated and misunderstood aspect of our society. And also get more information about characters shown. It’s quite disappointing to see something haute supporting projects like terebin but not projects highlighting hidden disabilities

He is still not a very normal person. He is not good to any of his family member even to his own child. Just because he seems to conform normal social norms he’s respected and trusted.
4) Rameen seems to be neurodivergent. But these girls tend to hide their symptoms and keep “masking” and then comes a point in life where they can no longer hide and conform to normal social norms. After her encounter with Gulzar’s mindset and words, Rameen felt heard and did the first thing that came to mind as she could not mask any longer.
Amna's sarcasm is savage yet subtle. Always. 😅
The Novel JBHSSL is such an amazing novel and I really hope they don’t ruin it, but Amna in novel it’s not a story of 3 generation , it’s story of 4 persons , there are not 3 generations in the novel .
