I was married to man who had cancer and in the same situation getting pregnant was 2% and we did get pregnant and when my son was 18 months old Franco died. God does perform miracles and now I have a beautiful son who is 27 as I feel blessed. This episode shook me. I cried .
@@neerufranceschi10 That is so moving. God bless you and your son. You must have been both a mother and a father to him for he never got to know his father. Best wishes 💕
I agree with your review of Sun Mera Dil. The over-exaggerated dialogues didn’t make any sense. Amina You should also mention how Sadaf’s makeup is always flawless, even when she wakes up in the morning. When her friend came over, she had perfect eye makeup and contouring, which doesn’t fit her character at all
Thank God Aamna has guts enough to speak the truth about the utter stupidity shown in Sun Mere Dil. Hasan, as usual, is fangirling like a lovestruck teenager. Compare that to their reactions in Duniyapur where Aamna was authentic in her praise (as in the drama deserved that praise) while Hasan sat there with a poker face and felt as if he was forced to praise the drama.
Hassan has a weird connection energy with KRQ and he loves the dialogues he writes. SMD is a tedious watch. My comments are posted in a separate comment so I won't repeat myself here.
You are absolutely right!! Hassan’s interest in Ghair and Sun meray dil is not comprehensible. I also feel that he is always star struck for female actresses.Go overboard on praising them for no reason…He always find them flawless in every pathetic drama
@@mehreenmisbah9556 True . I don't think hasan says what he feels honestly. On the other hand Amna feels true to her thoughts and says what needed to be said .
I totally agree with Aamna....reason to watch SMD is Wahaj....the other track is extremely useless...its difficult to like sadaf which unfortunately will lessen impact of the great love story tht the drama will try to sell
Sadaf cannot possibly be more irritating than Meerub. Irritating girls seem to be the success formula for Wahaj. They make him look good no matter how badly his character behaves.
@@ritika14707 Meerab's action were questionable sure. But at least one can put it on the trauma she went through, and the identity crisis and trust issues stemming from that. What reason does Sadaf have for being so rude to her supposed best friend right now? A one time proposal? 😭
I have been a victim of domestic violence for almost 8 years in my marriage and later stepped out of it with my 2 kids. I was taken a back with that scene and completely resonated with that portrayal in the hospital and how one feels that pain.
Thanks Amna for having the guts to talk about sunn mere dil. KRQ is a type of writer who always show girls or women as villan. On the other hand, he is showing a sharabi and play boy as hero by delevering romantic dialogue from his mouth. No doubt Wahaj is a tremendous actor and he does justice to the character but the writing is like a big vegetable Khichdi. Here everything has putten like budget, actors, direction but not the taste. Not gonna watch it now 😮
Jafaa: Why is no one talking about deception Numair gave to Andaleeb. Yes he said he did not want kids but not wanting and cannot have are two different things. If Numair was told he couldnt have kids, Andaleeb should have been told at the time of rishta. Hence I do believe Numair to be deceptive.
I think Zara would get Hasan out of jail but not come back to him . Hasan deserves rehabilitation but not reconciliation as said by Amna in previous review .
Jafaa: So our hero was a research participant in a study to find relation between cancer and genes, and in one of his tests, ( probably semen ), it was found that he had Azoospermia, meaning having zero sperm count. I asked my daughter, a med student and she said that it is not possible for the wife to get pregnant naturally in such a case. Surgical procedures or in vitro fertilisation is required. Hormonal therapy is believed to be ineffective, risky and is not recommended. Hence Numair’s concern is genuine. But since it’s a drama , no worries. What was more shocking and unbelievable for me was Zara’s dadi’s attitude. I don’t believe such dadis can exist in educated families. I was expecting she would apologise to Zara and her mom, but my, my…..The lady has a lovely face and a sweet voice, such toxic dialogues are not suiting her personality.
I know a family from Australia , and the doc said she can’t conceive naturally. Its not possible. But nature works in mysterious ways, she is 10 weeks pregnant mashahAllah
@@WeRoamingAustralia Must have done surgical procedure or would have become pregnant by ivf. Usually people don’t tell anyone, keep such details secret.
As much as I have read about it as a pre medical student , I think there IS a slight chance of being pregnant naturally without any surgical procedures
Smd: I’m surprised that it wasn’t pointed out that each scene Aamna called stupid, rightfully so, was also by female leads, Hira, Amar, Maya and Saba Hameed, all of their scenes were ridiculous and dialogues were cheap. The fact that the male leads have come across strong and female leads all trying to convince Ammar to self exit by poison, all 4 of them. What the heck is this? Did no one notice Krq’s underlying resentment toward women here?
Agree with Aamna on Sun Mere Dil. I'm just enjoying Wahaj's & Mohammad Ahmad Sb plotline. I'm invested in Bilal Abdullah's backstory but on the other hand, Sadaf, Dania and Ammar are portrayed to be so dumb for their age shown in the drama. There could've been a better storyline on their part. I guess they have done their Hotel Management Degree so they must be a bit more mature. And that "Kameena" dialogue doesn't gel with me. Last week Sadaf said it, now we heard it 3-4 times. Not necessary. I hope Sadaf's character be better in upcoming episodes.
@sabanoor9913 and the dialog Kisi se bhi mohabbat kar loongi bit tumse nahin. Why she is acting like a rich spoiled brat. Seeing her father Sadaf would be respectful to others feelings and can calmly tell him "no"
@@anuvaid6457 @anuvaid6457 absolutely.. they were friends, he was not a stranger, her reactions are not making sense. She might feel awkward but pouring water and these dialogues - no!!
Agreed with Aamna ma’am on SMD’s review - pointing out the illogical nature. Hassan’s somewhat defensiveness towards it stuck out like a sore thumb. Saba Hameed’s dialogues with Maya seemed redundant as if KRQ just copied them from Pyare Afzal and Zara Yaad Kar. The usual curses mixed with some love advice. The achi larki tropes are already apparent. The whole triangle is so annoying to watch. Dania devouring the sandwich, Sadaf cursing Ammar, Ammar being a weird Devdas with no self-respect. The zeher scenes were so badly written with over dramatization that became absurd. Just want to skip them and watch Sadaf & Bilal’s meeting. Hashma seems like Mifra with her inexplicable inclination to interfere in other people’s matters. The mard advice she gave to Ammar was so pathetic and her stylized vampish behavior is weird. Only Wahaj’s performance and character are the saving grace of this drama.
SMD- Totally agree with Amna's viewpoint....its doesn't look like present day drama....has cringe dialogues...and the female lead acting like a Victorian era character. And the male lead despite all the bad qualities...painted in gold..😂😂
I agree with Aamna on this one. The plot is just so illogical and at times regressive for SMD: 1) why would Sadad and her mother be so rude to a boy who has just proposed to her for God's sake? It's not that he is known to be lecherous or has misbehaved with Sadaf previously. He has been her friend for so long, so the least she could have done is sit down and talk it out with him. If he wasn't agreeing to it and still pursuing her, I'd still understand. But why now? When he has just proposed? And to the point of mocking him and egging him on for suicide? 2) Auroitein mein bardashth karni ki taqat kam hoti hai thing stuck out like a sore thumb for me. As did mein mard baccha hoon from Zaviyar. A mere child also has the notion that women are weak enough to not understand the gravity of a situation, so he needs to "man up" for that? And of course the hijra discourse and once again the acchi ladki buri ladki saga. 3) Sadaf is being handed a job at a prestigious chain of hotels, which is a dream job for many apparently, without even applying for it? The boss directly hands her an appointment letter, not even a call for an interview, without even having gone through her CV or qualifications (and no I don't think asking 2 questions to another employee counts)? And why? Because he is smitten by her by seeing her cross the road like an unattended toddler? I am all for giving margin to fiction but to this extent? 4) Mirza saab, after everything he says, still takes the letter to his daughter, and doesn't even say a word against it. I mean okay you can't refuse your boss, but at least let your reservations be known to your daughter? The story is basically set in the 1980s and not 2024. It's the same old plot point of bad guy turning good for a girl, but things make even less sense here than it does in wattpad.
Exactly. Amaar being treated as crap as if he did something to insult her in public or online. Even Ramsha telling him to take poison. And yes 80s plot guy stops drinking for a girl😮
Girl u really can't be finding logic in KRQ's universe.💀 I mean it isn't that serious come on, his writing is illogical. He is regressive at times and at times he make no sense. Gentlemen went through the same and terribly failed in making sense. So expecting a masterpiece here makes absolute no meaning. I guess the audience including me are quite literally waiting for a leads interaction and a good romance and atleast the story to move forward.
Sadaf and her mother's behavior might be odd, but I believe it was influenced by the "poison" threat. While girls tend to be drawn to strong personalities in men, the threat undermined that trait in Amar. Moreover, Sadaf had already rejected him, and now Amar's persistence is starting to irritate her. If any guy believes that "women have less tolerance" or has notions of a "perfect girl," these are personal perceptions, not universal truths that apply to all men. The idea of a "perfect girl" came from a man who was drunk and a playboy, not from someone noble or worthy of being idolized. Bilal Abdullah was initially captivated by Sadaf when he first saw her and grew more interested due to her father's principles regarding her. This led him to offer her a job at his office. Mirza Sahib knows both the positive and negative sides of Bilal Abdullah, and he has a soft spot for him (it is shown during his conversation with his wife), which is evident in Bilal's interactions with Mirza. After learning about his son's illness, Mirza feared that he might not have much time left, so he wanted Sadaf to take the job. Additionally, Abdullah's behavior/decision regarding Sadaf's joining gave off a positive vibe. Regarding use of slang, mostly this happened within friend circle (Sadaf-Dania-Amar-Hamsha). I don't quite understand why this has been met with criticism. However, instead of using "Hijra", different word with a similar meaning could have been used in the dialogue. The only instance where I felt the slang "Kamina" was inappropriate was when Mirza reacted to his wife referring to their son’s illness.
@@readersdigest-xml1 I never look for logic or realism in fiction. It's fiction for a reason and I understand that. But so far fetched? Not even wattpad goes there. At least the FL submits an application to the company she bags a job in. This is not even creative liberty. It's utter ridiculousness.
I want to start by saying that Khalil-ur-Rehman is a male chauvinist with a regressive mindset, and he is a significant narcissist. Whenever he writes a dialogue for a woman, whether with another woman or a man, it's often absurd. He has no idea how women think or feel; he speaks in a manner reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s, which is completely disconnected from the reality of today's women. The current generation or the audience watching these dramas cannot relate to his writing at all. If you recall the dialogues between Sanam Javed and her mother's character in 'Zara Yaad Kar', they were just as ridiculous as those in Gentleman, where two female characters interacted. The dialogues between women are regressive. In this drama, especially the dialogues of Sadaf and Saba, every woman's dialogue is equally foolish and ignorant, much like Khalil-ur-Rehman's own perspective. This drama is utterly nonsensical and lacks any coherent plot, relying solely on a hero's presence, which doesn't make any sense. Maya Ali's portrayal in the drama is quite off; she looks too perfect and too posh for her character, who is supposed to be a university-goer with a middle-class upbringing. Girls from middle-class backgrounds do not wear heavy makeup or sleep in it, nor do they dress up perfectly when doing household chores. While she may think of herself as a star, she needs to remember that she is an actress and should perform accordingly. Look at other actresses like Sajal, Mawra, or Hania Amir, who often go without makeup in similar roles, portraying their characters authentically. Hania Amir, for example, has performed scenes without any makeup, embodying the essence of a middle-class girl. Maya should take a cue from them and adapt her performance to fit her character more realistically. Hassan and Aamna, did you not learn anything from "Gentleman"?
Agreed with Aamna on Sunn mere dil review..utter stupidity.. just want to appreciate acting of Mohd Ahmed n Wahaj was also good in some scenes but overall not gripping story.
Sun Mere Dil, I tried watching thrice but it is sooo boring and the dialogues soo not making sense specially Hamsha's character. Even for Wahaj I can't waste my time on it.
It's like the same other geos drama . Literally their every single drama appears the same . Rich boy poor girl married and then happy at the end Jaan Nisar Shiddat Dil E Nadan Sun Mere Dil Deewangi . And our audience gives them billions of views. OTT Acting OTT direction OTT dialogues OTT Makeup and Last but not the least OTT episode numbers.
You didn't get hamsha 's motive dear... Behind provoking, she knows that. Man is cunning. Will not commit suicide. But she needs to sideline sadaf, as she knows bilal abdullah is behind her.
amna you look amazing in this video!!! the shirt, the hair, everything looks perfect on you!! you look so young! I keep taking inspiration from you for clothes.
#SMD: agree that some scenes were very stupid , and Sadaf is now becoming the most irritating character of SMD. I mean who rejects a proposal like that, constantly pestering him for suicide, laughing and joking if Ammar drinks poison…throwing water on him.. I mean why..the guy was a very good friend of yours, you went to college together, there is nothing abnormal if he is interested in you and proposes you, he is not a roadside creepy guy, if you are not interested just decline it firmly without the non sense drama. It’s a trend that if you want to show a girl having choices and decisions, show her badtameez..and Sadaf crossed that limit of badtameezi. Old school romance is very delightful to watch but these things are simply unnecessary. The most interest factor is definitely Bilal, and Wahaj is doing great, specially the piano scene was moving. He cries really well..Interested in his backstory and how Bilal and Sadaf’s story will progress. Another interesting character is Ammar, and Usama Khan is convincing in his character. I think he is not that simple as he is shown and has some story, he definitely likes Sadaf but he has some motives, the scene where he puts namdar’s name as reference , eating just after the suicide drama as if nothing happened and even telling Dania I was just blackmailing her, I think these scenes were put on purpose to show how his character will develop as the story progresses. I think male leads are more intelligent and doing a better job in SMD.
You're right. Seems like KRQ brushed off the female characters. Sadaf, Dania and humsha none are making sense. It's sad to see women characters like these. All are desperate for someone's attention. Sadaf will also end up haywire I am pretty sure. Bilal is the only one carrying the show
@abu_fahad2158 haha you're right. He's all about glorifying male character's and making them completely dominant. No doubt aamna takes it with a pinch of a salt. Because his intent is so visible through his dialouges for the female characters.
I think Ammar might later be revealed as a galeech insaan or something, as you said putting Sadaf's dad's name in his references, the eating after the suicide drama and all... and it will be done to show how Bilal, even after being a drunkard and play boy really fell for Sadaf and changed in her mohabbat, while Ammar's love, like him, was selfish and "corrupted"
One of the main reasons people loved KRQ's dramas was his ability to create a unique world-KRQ world. His distinctive philosophy, dialogues, and word choices set him apart. However, it feels like we've had an overdose of his style. Now, it comes across as repetitive, as KRQ seems stuck in his old-fashioned writing. He needs to explore and adopt a new storytelling approach.
I'll agree with Aamna ji on her take about Hira's conversation with Ammar. It was so childish and stupid, i was thrown off. Completely unnecessary and idiotic.
Jafaa - I am glad Aamna brought the most emotional moment of this show out, not just this show but in recent times... Mawra & Director did an amazing job...A daughter, who might have climbed a career ladder very high, might be making her own decisions in life and yet, when she is in pain, she cries for her Father & parents to sooth her & just be with her, to fight for her with the society. Just those few minutes conveyed this so beautifully... This painful cry didnt make her less of an independent woman...It just made her more human! Mawra - Hats off! I do not agree with Hassan and Aamna about Dadi's scene to send Zara back. It was important since there are parents who still believe that the girl should go back to her in-laws even in lieu of domestic violence or cruelty. This should be addressed...The Father until now has been quiet in front of Dadi and the Zara's mom has been shown to be fighting Dadi alone but now it's time Father stands up to Dadi. The only thing I do not like or agree with Jafaa and is my Q to all - What did Moiz do wrong that he has to take so much bitterness from her? He didnt expect her to get over so soon...A girl who would paint the town red confessing her love every second for Moiz, I dont think even I expected her to get over him so soon, especially knowing the truth that Moiz intended to have the pills but mother stopped him... So, what did Andaleeb want- him to have pills to not be a villain? Its expected of him to feel that if Andaleeb needs his help or "freedom" from a "forced" marriage, then he shld be there for her... Thats all he wants... And she needs to explain him more humbly and with love, that she has moved on!... Slapping was just NOT done!... Thoughts?
andaleeb wronged moiz so bad. i completely agree with you. these are my exact thoughts. she's being so mean to him. andaleeb just has chronically bad communication skills.
Okay so in my opinion, if moiz had the guts to take the pills and blackmail his mother emotionally, he could have done that before and told his mother that she has to go to andleebs home for a proposal. But we saw that andleeb was trying harder in front of her parents for moiz whereas moiz just talked once to his mother. Later, the way her mother showed concern shows that if moiz talked to her a few more times she would agree for the marriage. So it was more like moiz’s ego that andleeb should die instead of being someone else’s wife, and one more thing, andleeb after taking pills when she woke up the first question she asked was hows moiz. But on the other hand, moiz if he did not take the pills he did not even bother to check andleeb that is she fine or not. So , that lacks empathy for moiz (in front of andleeb and viewers as well).
38:39 right 👍 she was fantastic in acting. Specially the line when she says Baba aap kahan they. Bahut dard ho raha hai. Aisa matlab ki aap kyon Nahin Aaye mujhe bachane Jaise bacche kahate Hain.😢
41:00 THIS! I started crying and tearing up like crazy i saw mawra in that scene.. omg i was surpised at myself bcoz the way i just started crying? Even during the discussion of this in the review.. hearing amna and looking at her getting emotional i started crying again too.
Thank you sooo much, piyari Aamna, for being the brave soul to finally call out the overacting in Sun Mere Dil. Aamna Jani, we adore you every time you bless us with the truth! 😂😂😘😘
Jaffa: I swear, they can make Numair and Adaleeb's story so much more complex in terms of plotline and emotional depth but it has to be bolder and more clearer unlike covering the main agenda of the plot by speaking it in English to avoid controversy.
they were marketed as the main lead and ended up having the most boring storyline. atp i'm rewriting their story in my head because i'm so disappointed for being robbed of a better storyline, profound scenes and better dialogue. there was room for sooooo much. the characters have zero personality and are super one-dimensional. idk. i'm bitter about it. people always (in sabaat too) underutilize usman mukhtar. he's such a fine actor.

Thank you for the review. The new drama written by KRQ would not make sense because it is like his over and over repeated themes and dialogues. It is like the old started if you hurt when u eat it over and over and it loses it efficacy
saw on a fb page, a good background for Wahaj's character would be he is actually Rumi from MPTH! It would be epic! Would make a lot of sense why he doesn’t mention his mother and his father passed away and he was close to him. Would explain all his baggage
Sun mere dil- i saw a scene from the first episode where wahaj was acting drunk. His performance was so poor that i gave up right away. Didnt bother watching it
Amna, I agree with you, sunn mere dil is nothing but a regressive plot with cringe characters. They can't glorify suicide like this. In Jafaa, i am surprised that Numair didn't share such a important news with andleeb that he can never be a father. I don't think zaraa will forgive hassan. I am a physician, and I have seen victims of domestic abuse, not only the women suffer but this vicious cycle continues and the children suffer too, i believe zaraa wants to help him only so this cycle doesn't repeat itself...
Mawra truely deserves an award for this. For everyone questioning her for the award she got this year, i hope they dont snub her away for this. I quite literally got chills down the spine when she started talking to her parents. Jafa is another failed script, they have also wasted a young talent like sehar. She deserves good scripts and shows.
completely agree with Aamna about Sun mere dil. Wish they had cast someone else in place of Maya. And Heera may look modern but she is also miscast in the role.
Jafaa: it was absolutely a moving scene. I have tears even hearing about it . I honestly think it was one of the most impactful DV scene that I can remember.
38:39 right 👍 she was fantastic in acting. Specially the line when she says Baba aap kahan they. Bahut dard ho raha hai. Aisa matlab ki aap kyon Nahin Aaye mujhe bachane Jaise bacche kahate Hain.😢😢
Numair better not doubt Andaleeb as he himself wasn't honest about his situation before marriage. BTW its an interesting scenario where a young guy knows about his infertility before marriage. His romantic life would have been completely destroyed. He couldn't think of having a normal relationship with any girl. Explains it why Dr Sahab is so unromantic 😂😂. I hope they explore this topic more rather than classic Numair doubting Andaleeb track.
I agreed with Hassan’s review on the first episode of Nadaan (that it was too expository). That is why I’m surprised that he isn’t finding the dialogue and the storyline of SMD illogical and problematic despite the great cast, acting and direction. I’m foreseeing SMD becoming roasting material in the near future. The constant reference to zeher is immature, irritating and badly written. The reference to masculinity in terms of zeher ‘she’ll think of you as a man only if you stick to your words and consume poison’ and ‘main mard bachcha hoon’ are highly problematic and irresponsible writing. The father is sad due to the son’s diagnosis because ‘he is my only son’ as if he’d be ok with the diagnosis if he had several sons. Also, keeping it from the wife because ‘I have two kids but she only has one’ as if she’d be ok if the diagnosis was for the stepdaughter and saying women can’t face difficulties so we can’t disclose the diagnosis to her. She is the mother, she has every right to know. You can’t decide her rights for her. She’s shown to be a mother to both kids. Why does it matter if one of them isn’t her own?Such careless dialogues and insensitive portrayals of women. KRQ should take lessons from Mustafa Afridi and Zafar Mairaj on how to portray women as flawed yet strong individuals. As a writer, you need to understand the point of view of the characters of every gender. You can’t just assume and write them the way you think they’d behave. In this case, KRQ is writing women from a derogatory and discriminatory male point of view.
How is Doctor Numair a green flag, when he kept his condition a secret before his marriage. He should have told his mother/ his wife to be about this before marriage. Andeleb's case was different, but what if this was a woman who liked him from the beginning of the marriage and wanted a family. This is so unfair.
@@NishaDikale just want to ask is it fair to comment on someone’s complexion in this era , she’s beautiful the way she is maybe u don’t like the filters used in the scenes
Jafaa: if Numair doubts Andaleeb that would be out of character. He has overheard her reject Moiz with his own ears, why would you doubt your wife? Get tested again or do a invetro dna test.
01:02:17 Absolutely agreed with Aamna on why Sadaf and his mother are behaving rudely or negating Amaar's character. They could have shown some negative character traits of Amaar to make Sadaf and his mother's actions beleivable. They could have simply said no that we are not interested. Also this whole zeher wala angle and Amaar's thought that she is not interested in someone else and that he still have a chance even after both mother and daughter have insulted him so much.
I sooo agreed to Amna about Amna’s perspective about sun mera dil. Too many dumb scenes and weird scenarios coupled with few good dialogues and performances.
Every new Maya Ali's dramas have flopped #yunhi #phelisimohabbat and now #sunmeredil. All her old dramas are blockbusters #DiyarEDil #AunnZara . Maya Ali should come back with Osman Khalid Butt
Absolutely agree with Aamna , as always! Some of these scenes make all the women in the show look so stupid. These types of situations and conversations dont happen in real life, they are so icky!
Hassanji , your foresightness is Finally ye pata chal gya ki Jaan Nissar me kashmala bhabhi ne apne husband ko mara tha , flashback scene me aa gya....Hatsoff to you. You said this intial episodes only .
SMD- All the women are crazy. All 3 are provoking Ammaar to consume poison. Who does that!? Also not able to understand Saba Hameed’s character. Sometimes she asks Sadaf to stay away from Ammaar then the next day she asks Sadaf to go and meet him at the door. Totally agree with Aamna. Full of stupidity. Dania is scary- Maniac. So is Hamsha. Sadaf is super weird- throwing water on the poor guy. Utter Rubbish.
Jafaa Mawra scene with her parents made me bawl I cried so much- agree what a beautiful moving scene😢😢 Also Deebu has not conceived naturally obviously Numair has been taking medication as they showed in one scene .Some types of azoospemia can respond to hormonal deficiencies so maybe he has been taking hormonal tablets so why would he not think that it worked? If they show him accusing her that would be very stupid
SMD the only reason to watch is wahaj Ali as bilal abdualah superb his character made us hooked plus his brilliant acting maya is average seems miscast for the character as sadaf no strong dialogue delivery or expression also look a bit older than male lead lets see how theh unfolds the story ❤
@Amna I cried seeing that part in Jafaa too. Hats off to Mawra/Daanish and all the supporting actors for Perfect depiction of the absolute misery, guilt that comes after a victim suffers abuse.
Why should sadaf consider ammars proposal ?? He is a bloody creep . I think he is extremely grey character and he doesn’t even love sadaf as much as he claims to love . He uses her father’s name for reference and he is one side saying his life has ended and on the other he is finding jobs, eating , dressing up , friend chats infact doing a job properly . He is just like any other road side creepy boy who harasses the girl mentally
Jafaa: absolutely not! Unless they show a time lapse of 10 years in which Hassan has shown remarkable progress in therapy, then MAYBE then the audience might accept it, but after the last episode that aired, Zara would be crazy to go back.
No way she would go back to Hassan after 10 years. I mean till that, she would've recovered from all the trauma. Why would she go back to such a person then even if he's changed?
Great review! I totally agree with your thoughts on Jafaa-Mawra’s performance was truly heartbreaking, and it really resonated with me. She deserves all the acclaim for that! As for Sunn Mere Dil, I also feel it’s a bit too over the top and tries too hard to be serious. Sometimes a light-hearted romance is all we need! In Bismil, Savera Nadeem absolutely shines, but I can see why Saad Qureshi’s performance might not resonate with everyone. The direction does have a unique style that can be jarring. Thanks for sharing such detailed insights-I’m looking forward to more reviews like this!
Just a random thought: In sabaat, the track of usman mukhtar and sara was well written while that of mawra and ameer took a regressive turn when hassan doubts anaya and she forgives him in the end. In jafa, the track of mohib and mawra is so well written while that of usman mukhtar and sehar has loopholes in it. But I hope numair doesn't go far in doubting deebu.
@@FarzanakouserKouser-my1mi yes but then it took the turn of a typical story where husband doubts the wife and in the end she forgives him. At that point it disappointed me otherwise I loved them.
SMD: Thanks Hassan, for the genuine review. Aamna’s excessive criticism seems unwarranted. Sure, the scenes between Ammar and Sadaf didn’t fully make sense, and Sadaf could have handled things more maturely. But there were plenty of strong moments Aamna could have highlighted, just like Hassan did. Also, what’s with Aamna and her obsession with trashy romance? Unlike TB, there’s no romance in the first four episodes here. The leads haven’t even interacted yet, and it’s clear Bilal has a painful past. So, where’s the similarity? Please stop comparing everything to TB and try to look at new dramas with fresh eyes. Aamna even compared Ishq Murshid to TB. Seriously, it’s time to move on. This drama isn’t over-intellectualized at all. There’s a persistent sadness and melancholy that touches almost every character, and the dialogues effectively convey that. It might be a bit slow, but the plot keeps you engaged
Exactly 💯💯💯💯 aamna is just criticising it bcs she doesn't like the writer but it doesn't mean that the efforts that director, producers and actors have put in is waste!!! I think that smd is amazing❤
@yogimahans86 exactly.. the scenes were shorter than the time she spent reviewing them 🙄 . A passing comment on some not so good scenes would have sufficed.
@Sally-vz8gf ikr . And since when did TB become a gold standard for her that she wants to see TB in every drama. Also, if there was indeed a similarity between TB n SMD, she wouldn't have been too happy with that either
I think Andaleeb's character has not been given any thought or work by Samira Fazal. Mohib and Mawra have stated in IV that they worked with Samira Fazal to work on Zara's character. But Deebo's character development was sidelined. I feel bad for Sehar who is really good in emotional scenes but her character has been reduced to an immature kid.
Totally agree with Amna about Sun Marey dil. Drama stuck in the past with crazy situations and very old style dialogues and words can’t relate with current times. Only watching because of Wahaj and Mohammed Ahmed. Heroine and her friend are the dummiest characters. Heroine’s friend came from abroad acts like ‘ gaoin ki gori’ pathetic.
Not watching another KRQ trash ofc.. just watched some clips doing rounds on twitter . It seems, KRQ's most fav trash trope is making hero fall in love with Heroine in the first encounter. in Gentleman he sold this garbage and now in SMD. exactly why a goonda will fall in love with a random girl whom he just met on street while fighting with other goons ?? or exactly why a millionaire will fall madly in love right after spotting a random girl who almost clashed with his expensive car while crossing street ?? it's 2024 and writers like him think such trash stories of " romance " will be sold and bigger clowns are the production houses and actors who think such script will work every time just because they are popular and can act . Lol. And Amna you are wrong , KRQ is NOT trying to pull off another Nooran, he is himself just another version of Nooran. Nooran sells her internalized misogyny and KRQ sells misogyny daily practiced by desi males explicitly in their every day lives . Hero's dialogues , Heroine's Dad's dialogues clearly indicates the drama is selling Madonna vs Whore concept in a new, simmering wrap. Wahaj and Yumna 's fall from grace lies in their choices of scripts. Both are pathetic tbh to choose Nooran and KRQ like writers.
Sun Mere Dil: I completely agree with Amna's review. And I think Ahmed sahab's character is gonna die in the next episode and then the hero will visit their house
In Jafaa, that wife beater justifies by saying to Zara’s father that she cheated him by taking pills, and would take no accountability that he also cheated Zara by not going for therapy.. how is it okay to love a man like that?!! Wouldn’t it be considered as Stockholm syndrome?!
I soo agree with Hassan bhai in jafaa drama. Reason of childhood trauma doesnt justify his actions. He should have gone for therapy when he was given the chance.
Regarding Sun Mere Dil I agree with Amna. Getting very annoyed with the story lines and scenes Amna mentioning. Very intersted in Wahaj story line but I hope it doesn’t become annoying
Wahaj is the reason why sunnmeredil is watched , the story needs to focus more on wahaj and maya track , why focusing on usama , hira and ammar , unkai scenes tou mein skip kardaiti hon
For jafaa jese apne zara ka zikr kia k education or support system ki waja se she's more stronger now! But hands off to show the strong parents also! Zara k baap ko heartattack nahi aya, zara ki maa ka BP shoot nahi hua it shows alot. I Applause 👏 that. I want to see strong parents also. Mujhe roti hui maa nahi pasand.
For Sun Mere Dil I think you have to accept and understand KRQs writing style to enjoy the show. He writes in poetic fallacies and sometimes he does a good job and sometimes it doesn’t sit well. The chai dialogue for example has nothing to do with chai. It’s just the mom telling him that we don’t know you or trust you or accept you yet. This is how KRQ writes. Some find it odd and some enjoy it. I feel like people enjoyed it in the past to a larger degree (in Meray Paas tum Ho, Pyarey Afzal and in some instances in Sadqay Tumhare). But ever since he’s started to be more vocal with his problematic views, people are disconnecting with his style.

Thanks Amna for having the guts to talk about sunn mere dil. KRQ is a type of writer who always show girls or women as villan. On the other hand, he is showing a sharabi and play boy as hero by delevering romantic dialogue from his mouth.

@@moosani11 well what can we expect from the writer of that drama , sadly

I feel like makers have an obsession with making the “good” female characters really stupid

Sunmeredil is viewed for wahaj and people want to see wahaj and maya sharing screen together and not other actors
The sandwich scene was so icky
SMD- Totally agree with Amna's viewpoint....its doesn't look like present day drama....has cringe dialogues...and the female lead acting like a Victorian era character.
And the male lead despite all the bad qualities...painted in gold..😂😂
I agree with Aamna on this one. The plot is just so illogical and at times regressive for SMD:
1) why would Sadad and her mother be so rude to a boy who has just proposed to her for God's sake?
“Cross the road like an unattended toddler” lmao 😂😂
Khalil-ur-Rehman is a playboy.
Totally agree. KRQ is already on my boycott list.

Absolutely, it is not old school love it is creepy and difficult to digest in 2024
You're right. Seems like KRQ brushed off the female characters. Sadaf, Dania and humsha none are making sense. It's sad to see women characters like these. All are desperate for someone's attention. Sadaf will also end up haywire I am pretty sure. Bilal is the only one carrying the show
@@curious_seeker06 yeah KRQ writes dramas just for awara male audience. Those who can connect and think them as heros which make it hyped
Has Hassan asked how Bilal fell in love with Sadaf so fast? Or is that question reserved for only actresses who he doesn’t find pretty enough?
One of the main reasons people loved KRQ's dramas was his ability to create a unique world-KRQ world. His distinctive philosophy, dialogues, and word choices set him apart. However, it feels like we've had an overdose of his style. Now, it comes across as repetitive, as KRQ seems stuck in his old-fashioned writing. He needs to explore and adopt a new storytelling approach.
Sun mera dil.....weak story and direction and performances ott esp maya ali
Absolutelyy! Finally someone voiced my thoughts abt andaleeb! If she was a man who did this to a girl we would be calling him out for it
Okay so in my opinion, if moiz had the guts to take the pills and blackmail his mother emotionally, he could have done that before and told his mother that she has to go to andleebs home for a proposal.

Agreed. I hated the dialougue about women
I wish they had picked up on these points.
Agreed with Amna on sun mere dil
Mawra all the way
No words to express her pain ....too good .
Cried with her 😢😢😢
Sun mere dil: It's such a bhund. Get out if that zehr conservation🤮🤮🤮
How is Doctor Numair a green flag, when he kept his condition a secret before his marriage. He should have told his mother/ his wife to be about this before marriage.
Andeleb's case was different, but what if this was a woman who liked him from the beginning of the marriage and wanted a family. This is so unfair.
Exactly
Well this also dosent make him a red flag either per say. Maybe a yellow flag

She is beautiful in real life❤, but unfortunately in dram she not,aap to bura hi man gye😮
Okay? What's wrong with dark or black skin? What a racist thing to say
Amna is right . The scene of saba hameed with Usama khan was illogical and unrealistic.
Jafaa: if Numair doubts Andaleeb that would be out of character. He has overheard her reject Moiz with his own ears, why would you doubt your wife? Get tested again or do a invetro dna test.
Now I look back at Jaffa usman did an amazing job as numair the nuances the performance through out is amazing
Yes numair may seem a very simple character to play, it was a difficult character to perform!!
Well he had the same clueless expressions in HKKST 😶
SMD: this drama belongs to Mohammad Ahmed sahb, what a performance, he made me cry.
SMD: Aamna you are right. Totally agreed on your POV towards stupid useless scenes. And you are looking v pretty today.❤
Every new Maya Ali's dramas have flopped #yunhi #phelisimohabbat and now #sunmeredil. All her old dramas are blockbusters #DiyarEDil #AunnZara . Maya Ali should come back with Osman Khalid Butt
Sunnmeredil is one of the most watched drama and is already getting good views
@@qudsiakhalid3614 Sorry to say it isn't a most watched drama and the TRPs are very low. Even Wahaj Ali can't save this pathetic drama.

Aamna looked so beautiful today.....your hair and your outfit deserves a serial episode of its own...hehehehe.......
Agree Aamna . Sun mera dil has such cringe and stupid scenes specially with the female characters
Seeing Amna crying made me cry again 😢, Mawra's acting was so powerful.
Watching SMD for wahaj only 😍 his acting, expressions, styling, everything is amazing 😍❤ just can't wait for the new episodes🎉
Love your Kurta Aamna! Which brand is this?
Me sun mere Dil dekhna chahti hu per maja nahi aarha he😢😢😢😢
Jafaa Mawra scene with her parents made me bawl I cried so much- agree what a beautiful moving scene😢😢
Also Deebu has not conceived naturally obviously Numair has been taking medication as they showed in one scene .Some types of azoospemia can respond to hormonal deficiencies so maybe he has been taking hormonal tablets so why would he not think that it worked? If they show him accusing her that would be very stupid
I don't think he will
38:10 Loved when Juno was grooming Amina 😍😍😍😍
SMD the only reason to watch is wahaj Ali as bilal abdualah superb his character made us hooked plus his brilliant acting maya is average seems miscast for the character as sadaf no strong dialogue delivery or expression also look a bit older than male lead lets see how theh unfolds the story ❤
Am i the only one who likes 'sun mere liay dil'? 😭 The calm and emotional old romance one wants to watch in winter nights.
No I also loved sunn mere dil❤
@@sabahat987 jaani I’m not rooting for her to go back, she shouldn’t, I was saying IF they go that route there should be time lapse.
Mawra's track in sabaat was better than sarah
I’m failing to see any similarities to TB.
@@mmpiali Totally unnecessarily labelling it as trashy romance when the romance hasn't even begun.
Jafaa: mawra gave more expressions on the bed than Usman in all his dramas.

Jafaa: I actually thought Zara’s dadi will have regret.
Amnaaaa, i loved your attire today, the dress, the hairdo, and the makeup, esp the lipcolor mashaaAllah ❤
Thank you so much 🤗 -A
Sun Mere Dil: I completely agree with Amna's review.
She was right to not take the pill
Wahaj play the Bilal Abdullah roll very well ❤
I soo agree with Hassan bhai in jafaa drama.
I agree with Amna about stupid dialogues. why is everyone so obsessed about poison and every one telling him to take poison. So stupid.
Wahaj ali as bilal Abdullah ❤
Jafaa : no doubt , first scene was so emotional and I also cried over that scene😢
Oh by the way talking about predictions.. Hassan Jee you were right about
Kashmala killing her husband ( jaan nisaar)
SMD is a boring and slow drama, I'm not connecting with it. The dialogues are very strange and unnatural. Not upto expectations so far.
