I have one of these attractive coral/gold M2s and really like it. I got it with an M nib and filled it with the brilliant orange-red Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki. (Fuyu is Japanese for persimmon, a good match for the ink color.) I most commonly use F nibs for writing and EF for drawing, but I got this M2 with a medium nib because I use it for text annotation and the slightly wider line shows up well with the red-orange ink. Overall, I really like the M2 pocket pen. As you say, it’s comfortable in the hand and a nice compact size. I have found them to be very reliable smooth writers. I sometimes carry one loose in a pants packet and it has never leaked or failed to start. I also like the springy built-in clip, as you do. The finial shows a yin-yang of two entwined cats, one light and one dark. I prefer larger pens for extended writing, sessions, but I have several M2s with different favorite inks for EDC. Hong Dian (or Hongdian or HongDian) also sells inexpensive replacement nib units for most of their pen models. The ones for their Black Forest pens that have #5 nibs also fit the M2, I saw in another video. That means you can also get a fude nib if you want to draw with it. Replacement nibs are sold on Amazon.
It is a great pocket pen. Nice to have nib choices. For me, EF/F best for a pocket pen as I can many times need to write on paper that not good for ink.
Hello Chris! This is old subscriber from russia. Glad that you keep channel mission. Watching your videos as meditation instrument. I haven't used ink pen for a long time. Writing just for let you know that you're helping at least one person. 💌🤘
I have the original M2 (green, F nib) which I bought as an alternative to the Kaweco Sport. It lives with my edc pocket notebook and I really like it. Can't say I'm a fan of the new colour though.
I still can't wrap my head around a pocket fountain pen. I do have a Kaweco Sport and haven't inked it yet. The barrel is so thin for my taste. Is the M2 about the same size?

Thanks, I appreciate that. Glad you enjoy my work.
I've had a blue M2 in F as an EDC and just love it. Weight and balance is so comfortable, and it's my only pen that I use posted.
Nice to see more M2s. It's a really good pen.

Other colors to tempt you.
I just received mine. As soon as I saw it in Amazon I bought it. Looks great.
Very nice!
Another nice M2 Chris. The color I see on my monitor reminds me of a brick red.
Got mine a few days ago to complete the set 😁
And besides the pen reviews, I always enjoy and benefit from your philosophy on life and exhortations.

Did you experienced nib getting drier quickly after few days of not writing... Or in other words hard starts...
Sometimes, only takes a few strokes to write.

M2 is slightly larger. I find it easier to write with tan the Sport.
@@chrisrap52 sounds good to me!
Do you think this or the kaweco sport is a better buy?
The M2 is better, lower cost, metal, converter, writes great. I have 2 Sports, never became EDCs.
@@chrisrap52 Thanks.
Well i prefer the kaweco alsport using it for 3yrs + many nib options and the new piston converter thanks !!
