I've kind of become obsessed with Winross trucks lately and started collecting. But it does really baffle me how they put such insane amounts of quality and detail into their models, yet never included interiors or mirrors. The entire wheel and suspension system alone has like 20 parts just for one wheel set, yet they didn't bother to do a simple casting for an interior.
I hope you can find some new Majorettes at your Wal-Mart, since they are in Canadian Wal-Mart now! Us collectors in the United States don't have Majorette as of yet, but, if Canada has them in stores, I feel it's only a matter of time before they start showing up here. Maybe not at Wal-Mart, but still. I hope they do, as I've seen some cool stuff I wouldn't mind picking up! They would have to do a more collector-focused thing, though, as it's virtually impossible to compete with Hot Wheels as far as the kid's market goes, especially in the states.
I love majorettes myself and am slowly but surely obtaining quite a few....those trucks are nice...you have such an extensive collection...takes me alot of time to watch your vids as i stop it and start researching as i view...which is. Good thing....love your vids!!!!
Man, those Majorette trucks bring back memories.. I only had one in that scale though, an ESSO marked one.. The other Majorette 18 wheelers I had were the regular scale.. What I REALLY LOVED were the Majorette fire trucks in that scale.. Do you have any of those..!?!? There was a pumper truck, a ladder, and a tower.. The tower and ladder trucks had steering as well.. I LOVED THOSE as a kid..
I know exactly which Fire Pumper you are speaking of, but sadly I do not have that one in my collection YET. I am on the hunt for one, but prices on eBay are far too high, so I'm hoping to find one in the wild! Thanks for commenting and watching my video!
Also, I'm glad you mentioned the off-scale of trucks from Hot Wheels and Matchbox. It still happens even on recent castings of vehicles that are supposed to be bigger. Some aren't bad, but others, like the Pierce Dash from Matchbox, are too small for what they are. Probably because they have to keep the price low. I still am a fan of both brands, but, I've started shifting to M2 and Greenlight for castings of bigger vehicles.
Goodness it wasn't until you pointed it out and showed those beige HW troop carrier trucks up close beside one another that the colour variations became so distinct, wow that is curious! Really enjoyed listening and seeing all your latest finds buddy = )
The bazillion lights you got in there helps too. I only have a tiny LED desk lamp, and on my right, an incandescent table lamp, and I can hardly tell the slight differences in paint at nighttime, but during the day with the sunlight coming into my room I have an easier time seeing it/.
Excellent excellent finds! The packaged Hotwheels troop carrier kind of looks like it took home some sand from the desert. Never knew about all those shade variations. On the note of Majorette SuperMovers, I had 2 GMC Astro COEs with intermodal/container trailers which I regrettably sold. Fortunately I filmed some video that I'll have to edit before I sold them. Can't wait to see all the SuperMovers you picked up! The large scale 1:24 Hotwheels race cars are likely a result of Mattel's purchase of the Italian toy company MebeToys. The packaging is really unique on them. I currently have 2 Winross truck models, they're pretty nice and solid. There is a video here on UA-cam called "Winross a Serious Marketing Tool" not sure if you've seen it, but it explains the reasoning behind the lack of windows. They claimed plastic Windows were reminiscent of "toys"... Hmmm... Great haul, really enjoy these videos you do.
Thanks for the info on Mattel purchasing MebeToys, I did not know of that! I'll also check out the Winross video you speak of, but I am very interested in hearing their explanation. Not many toy companies these days want to be reminiscent of simpler times, so that is actually pretty cool! Thanks for watching my friend, really appreciate the comments too!
Until I can hit some fleamarkets myself I'll just continue to live vicariously through your haul videos. BTW I had mentioned in a previous comment that Mike Zarnock was visiting our local HW club and I do have a video with some of the signed items and loose cars I brought home.
And thats what I do quite often myself when watching others in our community posting videos... but more often than not I empty my wallet on eBay.... LOL..... Thanks for watching and commenting!
wttfor i have a question i bought myself a bronco 4x4 in white with the ford logo on it and the roof of it is normally in white like the car it self but the roof on my one doesn t have a color you can look in to the interior and it has on the top a big square where you can look through and little ones on the side which are the same area on the left down side and the right downside do you know anything about it because the rivets are in perfect condition
Ive got about 7 of those vintage field guns and jeeps and like 10 of those troop carriers, 5 of which are those light beige glossy ones. Anyway nice load you got here.
I found and old tomica tyrell p34 in my dads old bag of cars, and a 1977 Ferrari (the year hotwheels made it) in fantastic condo, aswell as an old matchbox keep also from the 70s
Great scores you got there from that flea market! The most interesting casting is that red lesny (although it was almost damaged... lol.). Really enjoyed this video as always thanks for your background information and just keep the hard job.
LMAO...you didn't waste much time in this video my friend!!! "It appears to me that it was probably vandalized by a young child, perhaps, or a drunken man. And, uh, someone who jammed maybe a pencil or something through the windows repeatedly as we've all done probably in our childhood at some point or another." Awesome longer quote! Loved the new finds on a bit more serious note. You are clearing house on the Majorette rigs!
You always get me and my friends in stitches with "the quote of the video" LMAO! Honestly you are one of my favoritism viewers because of that. Can you answer me this... have you ever stabbed a pencil or pen through a toy car window, drunkenly or not? LOL.... I have...
wtffor That's awesome that you and your buddies get a laugh at me getting a laugh out of your quotes! I've never done anything cool like that with a pencil. Best I ever mustered up with pencil(s) was taking 3 give away pencils from Burker King (my brother worked there at the time) marketing some kids show from the 80's and smashing them in half with my forehead.
Ditto! I used to watch action movies as a kid and would do that to cars and take the rubber off the tires if they had 2-piece tires, to simulate bullet damage and shootouts
The Revin Rebel packaging was amazing..can't believe you cracked that lol....good stuff O-Dawg fantastic stuff...I could have watched another 28 min....I actually like those Majorette trucks..even more than the steering rigs.I agree on the Winross..I was always confused at the interior/window thing too.
The Revin Rebel package was definitely cool, and for that reason I'll be holding on to it in one of my many boxes full of cool but open packaging that wasn't destroyed (LMAO!).... but the truck was super cool to let loose, and I love setting my cars free for my loose collection. It's not like I'm selling anything, so monetary value to me has little meaning in my collection. Thanks for watching and commenting my friend!
Nice finds! I vividly recall those two F1 race cars running in the Grand Prix of Detroit thru the downtown streets back in '81 driven by Niki Lauda and Michele Alboreto. I'm a big F1 fan and have several unbuilt models in the stash waiting to be built including big 1/12 scale versions of those 2 cars.
those 2 racing cars are formula1, and they are vintage. The Alfa romeo is from 1980, and the Ferrari 126 C a 1981 car. I don't think they have a big value from collectors POV, since they are plastic made and not that accurate and well made, but knowing hot wheels don't make actual scale F1 cars, they may have som value for a few fans, especially they are old and in very good shape
No kidding, well that was a very generous donation.... but I feel your pain. I am fortunate that I never ever had any feelings of purging my collection. And now it is huge. Time to rebuild my friend, it is never too late, and it is a fairly relatively cheap hobby to rekindle, compared to most... Thanks for watching and commenting!
Made in the USA,,, an the Wheels fall off, Ahahahahaha! Some 1/64 trucks go over $200 on Ebay. Dig the 1/25 F1 HWs, never heard of them? Great Show thanks wtf.
I actually don't have these trucks the shell truck the other shell truck and the ultimate truck I really don't have these trucks either I only have 5 Hot Wheels I'm just so sad about this because I just want toys my mommy and daddy don't want to give me any because they're just mean
MAJORETTE'S *grabs at the screen to grab them* i need them i've not seen the trucking ones gimme *trys again* stupid none 3-d grabable screen! most antuque shops are good, some have like stupid prices or ebay prices, wow a huskey! that's like old your talking 50's before corgi brought them up (hench why some earily corgi models are just old huskey's but with the logo removed and the corgi one popped on it bit like the hotwheels bases on were they were made) made in england *sniffs* good old toys from britain! nice to see it still has its tyres normally those like other parts are gone, $3 that's pritty good for its condition, sometimes the ppl who are there like to bag there "rarer" items or put them in the cases to stop mums and dad's who have kids but are still bargin hunters kids from playing with them and de-cressing the vaule, lot of army stuff was made in the uk its rare in the usa as at that time in the late 60's you had the war going on and kids playing with guns wasn't good so they mostly stuck to shipping out the cars and keeping the army stuff in the uk only by the 80's were army stuff comming over to the usa nice hotwheels rare error that looks to be water damage or like limescale damage but yeah its nie but with that stuff on the inside no good, looking at those larger hotwheels i think at the time matchbox had there "superkings" range which kids liked as they were bigger and were more fun to play with so hotwheels made these? unless they were like for collectors and were like "send in this to get this cool car" kinda thing, 'd keep them in the packaging as there rare i've not seen any big hotwheels other then the one i have the 1;18th scale model, there F1 racers not indy cars, nuuu the majorette's don't open or if you do put them carefully back in the packing! please!!!! those majorette's look to be compeating with matchboxe's convoy or big rigs line up, differant years, one is older as you had less fuel choosing the smaller one is when you had 4 to 5 fuel choosings, now a days (uk wise) only BP has like 4 or 5 fuels 3 of which are the eco friendly ones the other two are diesel and petrol, 14 MORE?!?! HOW DO YOU FUUUUUUU I HAVEN'T EVEN FOUND ONE YET!!! someones the packaging worps or the extra glue used or sticky tape gets them that or sun fade can make them brittle, these though nice n open, now once your done put them back in the package, hotwheels tearing rogs my gods there like reallt pricey in or out of the packaging yet to see one in the UK seen them on ebay at like ££££££ big money, SCREAMS LOUDLY YOU BEAST YOU MONSTER YOU JUST DESTROYED THE PACKAGING!! WERE'S THE UN-SUB BUTTON?! you try making a detailed inside to match the realness of the truck its not that easy! plus maybe they knew that it was too hard so just left it empty plus its it allmetal its going to cost money to send to other places, neat lil huskey and ahhhh random machine gun firing on the audio oww my ears! hmm yeah ertl were good at detailing, i think they went after tractors seeing as mb had i think 2 and corgi only had 2
Thank you for your detailed experience of thoughts and emotions while watching this video, I did enjoy the read! I hope you don't unsubscribe, there is so much more I have to video that I know you will love to see! As for packaging, I do keep all good condition packaging for nostalgia, but I can assure you that nothing in my collection will be for sale until possibly after I am dead, so that will be somewhere between 30 and 60 years from now, at best guess. My point is is that I like my collection loose and free, so I can enjoy the actual TOY beyond it's sterile and restrictive plastic coffin of packaging.... But I do keep some and many things packaged when it is art in itself. These Majorette Super Movers are not rare, just not easily obtainable for most of the world. For me they have come relatively easily, and for that I am thankful beyond words. All I can say is, Happy Hunting, and please enjoy my passion for my collection through my videos... I mean nothing but well for all my collection, and yours.
I've kind of become obsessed with Winross trucks lately and started collecting. You really amazed me O'Dawg with your weekly haul, keep them coming, I won't get tired of watching them specially the vintage ones. Thanks a lot.
Thank you for watching my friend, and commenting! I'm happy you are enjoying my videos!
I had that exact majorette tri-axle shell truck as a kid. brings back a lot of memories
Awesome! I'm on the hunt for more of these classic Majorettes!
Awesome Video like them Shell station tankers thanks for sharing 👍🏼

I may have to take more interest in those rigs! They do look really fun. I think I may have to start with the steering rigs though.

Quick ebay search for that Revell ram, one for $20 🙄
wtffor i love your truck
MAJORETTE'S *grabs at the screen to grab them* i need them i've not seen the trucking ones gimme *trys again* stupid none 3-d grabable screen!
most antuque shops are good, some have like stupid prices or ebay prices, wow a huskey! that's like old your talking 50's before corgi brought them up (hench why some earily corgi models are just old huskey's but with the logo removed and the corgi one popped on it bit like the hotwheels bases on were they were made)
made in england *sniffs* good old toys from britain! nice to see it still has its tyres normally those like other parts are gone, $3 that's pritty good for its condition, sometimes the ppl who are there like to bag there "rarer" items or put them in the cases to stop mums and dad's who have kids but are still bargin hunters kids from playing with them and de-cressing the vaule, lot of army stuff was made in the uk its rare in the usa as at that time in the late 60's you had the war going on and kids playing with guns wasn't good so they mostly stuck to shipping out the cars and keeping the army stuff in the uk only by the 80's were army stuff comming over to the usa
nice hotwheels rare error that looks to be water damage or like limescale damage but yeah its nie but with that stuff on the inside no good,
looking at those larger hotwheels i think at the time matchbox had there "superkings" range which kids liked as they were bigger and were more fun to play with so hotwheels made these? unless they were like for collectors and were like "send in this to get this cool car" kinda thing, 'd keep them in the packaging as there rare i've not seen any big hotwheels other then the one i have the 1;18th scale model, there F1 racers not indy cars,
nuuu the majorette's don't open or if you do put them carefully back in the packing! please!!!! those majorette's look to be compeating with matchboxe's convoy or big rigs line up, differant years, one is older as you had less fuel choosing the smaller one is when you had 4 to 5 fuel choosings, now a days (uk wise) only BP has like 4 or 5 fuels 3 of which are the eco friendly ones the other two are diesel and petrol, 14 MORE?!?! SCREAMS LOUDLY YOU BEAST YOU MONSTER YOU JUST DESTROYED THE PACKAGING!! WERE'S THE UN-SUB BUTTON?!
you try making a detailed inside to match the realness of the truck its not that easy! plus maybe they knew that it was too hard so just left it empty plus its it allmetal its going to cost money to send to other places,
neat lil huskey and ahhhh random machine gun firing on the audio oww my ears!
hmm yeah ertl were good at detailing, i think they went after tractors seeing as mb had i think 2 and corgi only had 2
