61 years old I will be 62 in April of 2024. January 2023 I got diagnosed with bladder cancer service-connected because I spent two years at Camp Lejeune drinking contaminated water. I got awarded 100% p&t. It's now October 2023 and I have not re-evaluated yet. Of course every 3 months I need to go for a cystoscopy to see if anything is growing back after I had treatments. They found something in August which required a biopsy and they're just keeping an eye on it. So I was just wondering at my age could the VA possibly just leave me alone.. I'm also seeing a psychiatrist and psychologist for emotional depression because of this, as well as urinary issues. Of course if I have a comp and Pen exam I will let the examiner know all of this

Hello. I am 62 years old. I too drank the water at Camp Lejeune for 8-9 years back in the 70's and 80's. I developed bladder cancer also and was diagnosed back in Jan 2022. I went through 5 surgeries to remove tumors over the span of one year. My doctor told me my cancer inside my bladder was a "high grade" type of cancer and recommended to remove my bladder and prostate. The cancer did not become "muscle invasive" so it stayed inside my bladder, otherwise it would have spread to other parts of the body. I was wondering how long it took for your 100% p&t disability to be approved by the VA. I filed a claim back on 1 August 2023. I hope that you will be well and do not have to have your bladder removed like I had. Semper Fi.

Watching this live felt like i was watching an infomercial. I really appreciated the information but you two did not have any cohesion. Every other word out of her mouth was a sales pitch for the elite membership. It didnt appear that there was any concern for the actual veterans seeking assistance, only how can we get new members.
