Defense is fucking terrible now, you gotta crack da vincis code just to make your players play a proper zone scheme and man gets torched by almost every route
Man gets torched by like 3 routes and one of them is only if ur defender is slow ur players do play the proper zones people read where those zones are and throw the ball accordingly
Love tip 5. Cover 2 man with "press" is how ive stopped RPO spammers for years now. Good to see EXACTLY why. It really does smother the short stuff, so cool to see exactly why that is.

If you are in anything under a nickel defense my press is fine but if I switch to a cover 2 look before the snap the dbs will switch, running across the field to match up. Had to stop that when I noticed the pattern
Keep base align off and cb match up default don't really touch those first adjustments and you will never have thus problem again only happens in base alignment on and cb match up anything but default I found out
I love how the switch stick is the exact same motion as d-line moves. GREAT JOB EA. Now instead of RIP MOVES i just turn into the FS at random because the QB threw the ball. GENIUS DESIGN

@AceMaddenTips Yes, exactly. Like, I send my Corner on a blitz, and I play the line of scrimmage with him, but instead of actually blitzing , I drop back in coverage. That would usually bait the QB into throwing to my side since the receiver appears open.
Try the right stick switch mechanic it's better than pressing B. If you get stuck on a blitzing player, hold B and use the left stick to switch to the nearest defender

There's still football concepts involved but there's also just a bunch of other stuff you need to know

You can adjust your shell coverages to help disguise as well
Seam flats or qtr flats work with zone drops.
